The room was slightly smaller than we are used to and the bathroom was older but then we were staying in an older building in Rome, so not really a complaint.

The hotel was a beautiful building. We loved the breakfast which was one of the best we've had at a hotel, great selection and the garden restaurant was lovely to eat in. Location was very good too.

Restaurant service on the night was poor and uncoordinated even early with few guests and did not do the hotel justice. Not keen on menu, hamburger was ordered ( to be on safe side) however it turned out to be a stale bun possibly left over from breakfast (which was very good) Bathroom shower, though a proper roomy shower cubicle, has a very slippery floor and supplied rubber mat made it worse.

Historic hotel, good location near Termini station. A few minutes walk from Metro, 20 minutes walk from hop on hop off bus stop. A pleasant helpful doorman, baggage room and good check in. Nice large foyer. A bank of three lifts to take you up. Very comfortable quite room and comfortable bed. room service. A gym just off main foyer. Very attractive interiors found in more expensive hotels. Nice dining area with indoor outdoor garden setting also open directly to street. Very enjoyable and satisfying breakfast in area overlooking garden. Numerous and varied eating establishments a few minutes walk away.

It was often difficult to find bar staff. There was no bodywash in the shower, after asking several times to replenish it, it wasn't done.

The far most negative point in this room 206 is the double glazed window that gives on the street AND does not close perfectly. Resulting in hard noises from the street and difficulty to fall asleep. I think if the window would be fixed properly, it could bring some quietness to the room even being on the street side. Luckily I had earplugs and could sleep. A second remark is the bed that is shaped by the previous visitors and feels like you sleep into a slight curve. For a few nights it was acceptable but the hotel should look into this. Last is the shower tray : it's a bit slippery, so be careful when using it.

Very good and safe location. We could walk to most of all locations but the Vatican which is further off. Hotel is well kept and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is an overall medium quality breakfast but for a short stay one can accommodate. Breakfast area is very comfy and quiet even being in the garden or on the terrace. The room we stayed in was for 2 persons with two separate beds. The airco worked perfectly. The cleanliness was also good. The room has a high ceiling which gives you more breathing space. Bathroom was clean and has the regular things a bathroom should have. A plus is the good lightening in the bathroom and air refresher.
