Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandNothing other than there being no iron available, these things are shared between rooms and it seems someone kept it in their room for the whole stay because it was never left back to the communal area. It would be good if rooms needed to sign the items out rather than just take them and keep them.
We were surprised with how great this place was. It was a lovely modern room, reception staff really helpful! Ideal for a city break!

AustraliaReception is from 9am - 9pm which was challenging at times but not a big issue. The room was a tad on the smaller size. There aren't many facilities available (e.g. gym, breakfast).
Upon arrival, we were greeted by Alice who offered us something to drink as it was a really hot day. Once we were comfortable, she provided an extensive range of recommendations for breakfast, lunch, dinner and apertivo. Alice took us up to our room and explained everything. The location was perfect, the room was extremely clean (the hotel itself is very new) and we felt safe with the multiple locked doors. Overall, we had a very comfortable and memorable stay in Florence!

Clean, good location, helpful staff who provided full recommendations for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks choices. Property is conveniently located nearby almost all major attractions. All within walking distance. Rooms itself were clean and well put together. Overall an excellent stay. Only didn’t give a 10 because of the lack of facilities (I.e. gym) but if you are not looking for that this was a perfect accommodation, especially at this price range. Thank you for an excellent stay.
