Amazing property with the most beautiful views of San Gimignano. The staff are wonderful, always smiling and happy to help. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and with plenty of character. The swimming pool is large and plenty of seating. The breakfast is very delicious. Perfect for a couple and families.

You need to be aware of the relatively short period of check in hours (extra charge for coming later). we could manage to adapt our program so it was no problem, but be aware.

The compound is just beautiful, one can see a great passion to make every detail perfect. Breakfast is just excellent, likely one of the best I had so far. The pool area is really nice and made our stay during a very hot period very comfortable. Parking spaces available.

Exceptional location with a beautiful panoramic view over San Gimignano, yet only a 5 minute drive from the centre of San Gimignano. Staff was over the moon, so welcoming, caring and ready to help any minute. Delicious breakfast (without forgetting the pastries), room was clean and had a beautiful cozy interior. If you’re looking for a place to stay in San Gimignano area, this is the place. We will definitely visit again!

What a stunning property in an incredible location - the pool/garden view was of San Gimignano in the distance! Barbara was a fantastic host who provided us with lots of fantastic recommendations and booked restaurants for us. By the end of our 4 night stay, she felt like a friend! She is so cheerful and friendly and works incredibly hard. The breakfast is absolutely superb - all homemade by the family bakery and Barbara. Breakfast is served outside in a gorgeous shaded area. Try to make time to visit the bakery in San Gimignano too - superb products and delicious chocolates. The swimming pool is beautiful and is surrounded by the well kept gardens - there are lots of loungers and chairs, such a peaceful place. The property is very well looked after and very clean. We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave - Barbara kindly provided us with a breakfast to eat in our room on our last day as we were leaving at 7am. Highly recommended and we hope to return one day!

The hospitality of Barbara and her crew is heartworming. They really try their best to make you feel like at home. Entire property is just amazing, especially the garden. It has an incredible view, from which you can see San Gimignano.

Our room didn’t have any basic kitchen utensils like a fork/knife/plate. It’s not the type of room to cook of course, but you cannot have a quick small meal.

We absolutely loved this estate!! It has a huge beautiful garden and chill area around the pool. There are a lot of spaces outside to enjoy even if the property is fully booked. You can always feel secluded and cozy. It was super clean, they clean every day and it smells lovely. Beautiful view over St Gimignano and easily accessed by your car. It has a very good parking lot for guests. The staff is great and very pleasant. The WiFi is quite great for the location. They are offering breakfast, locally made from the owner’s bakery, it was very nice to try but a bit expensive.

Everything was perfect

Everything about our stay was perfect- the friendliness of Barbara and Sylvia was unmatched and they fulfilled every request we made with a smile (I have a gluten allergy and they were able to make multiple reservations at safe restaurants for me)!! Our weekend was so lovely from start to finish. Breakfast was impeccable, everything was clean, and we felt so welcomed. I hope to be back as soon as possible. The most perfect weekend. Thank you Sylvia and Barbara for everything!

Location has an amazing San Gimignano towers view, nature is amazing and the smell/freshness of weather is unbelievable. Room decoration was very nice and comforting, it is obvious all objects has been chooses by a very pleasant person. Host Barbara was very helpful and nice , she gave many amazing advices for our trip. Breakfast is very very good and has lots of local Tuscany dishes which is very delicious. Room was very clean , one of best place for San Gimignano

Homely and comfortable place. Perfect place to explore the countryside. Can access the town fairly easily. Barbara is the most welcoming and supportive host/owner! The breakfast spread is unforgettable (excellent way to start the day)! The pistachio spread is super yummy!

Our stay at Podere Sant’Elena exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect: the location and views of San Gimignano, the grounds (trees, flowers, nature), room comfort, amazing pool, delicious breakfast, and most importantly the friendliest and kindest hosts.
