The food and service were impeccable. The location was a great spot for taking daily trips around Tuscany. Coming back to a gourmet meal every evening was the icing on the cake.

I really can’t describe how incredible the place, and most importantly, the hosts are here. We had the most magical stay and will absolutely be back. The rooms, the bar, the exquisite food, the views and the attention to detail is top notch, I wouldn’t and couldn’t change a thing! A swimming pool and a view to die for, thank you SO much Pedro and team for a (hopefully not) once in a lifetime experience!! If I could give 6 or 7 stars I would :)

The only minor thing that I think would need improving is the bar drinks menu. I understand people come for the Tuscany wines, but while at the pool or just relaxing maybe you want to try a good brandy of a few variety of gins also. They have only one gin in the menu, it was okey.

A great location with panoramic view of Tuscany, surrounded by a beautiful garden of roses and also olive trees. We booked the half board as we read great things about the food, and indeed it was worth the money, I would say it exceeded our expectations. You can see there is great effort and love in maintaing this property, and although maybe we felt they were a little bit rigid at times, I think it is because they are true professionals trying to deliver great services, which we understand and apreciate. We were given a bigger room, and it was very comfy and spacious, the shower was great. Breakfast was delicious with great pastry. Overall, a great experience ! Thank you !

The only thing you won't like is if you stay somewhere else afterwards. Nowhere on our trip to Italy compared with the greatness of Il Segreto.

Would rate 20/10 if possible! Diego and Pedro are great. Property is gorgeous. We ate at the restaurant for the first night of our stay, then cancelled dinner plans in San Gimignano for the rest of our stay to eat there again. We could've stayed a month.

This property is outstanding in every way and we could not have hoped for anything more. The setting is breathtaking, and the view of SanGimignano is magical at any time of the day, but at sunset it is stunning and the perfect place to end the day is on the terrace with an aperitif watching the sun dip behind the horizon. We stayed on a half board basis and every meal was truly delicious and locally sourced and again was beyond our expectations. All of the staff are wonderful and it would be wrong to pick out one person as nothing is too much trouble, and you feel that you are being looked after by friends who really care about you. Il Segreto casts a spell on you from the moment you arrive, and I will certainly recommend this beautiful place and hosts to everyone looking for peace, total relaxation and a little bit of paradise that they will never forget.

Absolutely beautiful agriturismo situated in stunning gardens. Our room was really lovely with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom and plenty of room for suitcases. Our booking included half board which included a delicious buffet breakfast and three course dinner. The owners are very welcoming and the in-house chef is amazing. The location is only a few minutes drive to San Gimignano and 35 mins drive to Siena. We hired a car in Siena and did day trips each day. Stunning part of Tuscany.

Il Segreto di Pietrafitta is the definition of perfection. Simply an impeccable and wonderful stay. From the location, the accommodation (room), the building and the surroundings itself, the delicious food (breakfast & 3-course dinner = heaven.), the whole team around the wonderful and most warm & kind hosts Diego & Pedro - everything was just perfect. We have travelled the world, but this place and this team is high end. Thank you for making our Tuscany trip something we will remember forever. We will be visiting this place again for sure!!

Everything about this place is fantastic. Pedro and Diego were so helpful arranging our transport, and all the staff were so welcoming and kind during our stay - they could not do enough for us. The food was amazing, we loved having the set menus so we could try different things, everything was so fresh and delicious. The location was great, we didn't rent a car but could easily walk to get the bus into San Gimignano. This is a great town to explore as a tourist as there is plenty there but not too crowded. The views of the town and the surrounding countryside from the hotel were unbeatable. The room was super, it had a lovely rustic feel, but the facilities were also really modern and clean. We can't wait for our next visit!
