We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Excellent location (10 minutes walking to Portofino city center, 20 minutes walking to Paraggi Bay) , private beach area, friendly staff in general (especially the people in reception were extremely helpful and kind). They upgraded our room with a balcony of perfect view.

The beautiful setting, especially the view from our balcony. The private terraces above the small cove in which to swim. We enjoyed lounging on beach chairs, under umbrellas, swimming, rinsing off, enjoying a drink on the terrace, and repeating. The dinner. restaurant on a different terrace was excellent as well, and has a spectacular view. Very romantic.

It was a great location, but did require some walking to get into the downtown area of Portofino. Our room was upgraded to the most BEAUTIFUL view of the water with 2 large French door windows. The best view that I’ve had from any hotel ever!

ItalyThe lights in the room weren’t very bright so in the evening it was very dark in the room. It didn't bother us too much as we only stayed one night.
Great location, 10 minutes walking from the main square of Portofino, so the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The furniture in the room is well kept with a very big and comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with omelettes and other warm plates prepared fresh and freshly baked cakes. The room had a spacious wardrobe with a big safe. The hotel has a private beach access, three terraces with reclineable chairs overlooking the water. The hotel provides beach towels for free. The staff was super helpful and kind. We arrived by car, there is a private garage where the staff parks the cars for you (40€/night).

United StatesHotel could use some mild renovation, some paint in the room is already dirty and kinda disgusting. The bathrooms are tiny; maybe can use some updating as well. There is no lotion or conditioner, not a deal breaker but usually they’re expected toiletries. At least there’s complimentary bottled water x 2. The staff during breakfast, one didn’t seem so friendly. She would give us a side glance every time we stand and get some more food which was not so extensive, but at least it can still fill the stomach. She doesn’t smile, not very friendly at all. Same as a couple of men, not smiling at all. One time I thought there were a little inattentive, they were chatting at the bar while we were waiting to place an order for the hot/cooked food. An upgrade of the dining area and lobby would be very nice. Hotel has an amazing location already, might as well improve it a bit more. Btw, internet seemed nonexistent
The location was great! Our balcony is huge, and over the main road, with an amazing view of the water and Brown Castle! We people/car-watch. So easy to walk to the main Piazza, has a private beach (though pebbly). So convenient for the bus.
