The room was absolutely a dream come true: the view was like from a postcard! I could not have dreamed of a better accommodation in Positano. The staff is absolutely lovely and so accommodating: it really felt like a home away from home. Best experience ever!!!

Cosy room facing the mountain. Very friendly and helpful staff. nice cool air con. during the heat spells. have a veranda with nice view of the mountain and sea. Porter to drop off our luggage's is great help. Then we bus up to the drop off point and a short walk down to the hotel. lots of restaurants choices on the road side. 5 mins walk up the small path. positano internal bus is regular right outside the pathway.

This didn't bother us, but there a lot of stairs to negotiate in Pensione Maria Luisa and no lift. Positano has a lot of stairs and uphill/downhill walks so if you struggle with either be warned.

Pensione Maria Luisa was fairly easy to find along a path and down some steps. We were met by the very friendly owner and shown oir room. This was spacious and airy with an en suite shower room. Everything was comfortable, we had air conditioning and a small refridgerator. We just about had a sea view as well. There is a great sun terrace on the roof with panoramic views over Positano. The walk into the town centre is about 20 minutes. There was no breakfast available but there were places to eat 5 to 10 minutes walk away.

The location is great! The room was so clean. And the owners are very lovely! I loved the whole atmosphere of the place. They have a cute rooftop where you can enjoy the amazing view of Positano.

Place can be a little bit renovated, but still it’s amazing anyways

Not a single thing we didn’t like. Would be nice to have the option to pay for breakfast but there’s a bakery nearby so it’s not an issue.

Great value for money! My family and I loved this place. We stayed in rooms with sea views. The rooms are comfortable and clean and we loved the terrace. There are plenty of restaurants 5 minutes walking away from the hotel. Like anywhere in Positano, there are lots of stairs to go down to the beach. The stairs to the main beach and to Fornillo beach are different (Fornillo is slightly closer). There is also a common terrace with a beautiful view in case your room doesn’t have a terrace. I wish there was some kind of breakfast offering (even paid) - simple tea/coffee and fruit or pastries would be sufficient. We did struggle a bit to find breakfast nearby which slowed down our day. The shower was also quite small and there was no shelf to put toiletries on (personal pet peeve)

They really need to advertise the VIEW from this place better. It's really beautiful. The room itself was spacious and clean. The staff was super helpful in helping us figure out the aircon, offering recommendations and helping us deal with some ants (they're all over the town, it wasn't a lack of cleanliness on their behalf). We had a really nice stay. It was also very reasonably priced compare to many other hotels in Positano.

I booked a room at Pensione Maria Luisa last minute in the middle of summer and got tremendous value. Great price, the room was very clean. It is small but perfect for a couple. You have to walk a short distance with luggage but overall for the price, location, and cleanliness its perfect. You can walk to the beach and you can walk to town. You are close to a motorcyle rental shop as well. Loved it!

It was pretty good overall, nothing to dislike really. In comparison to other Positano properties Pensione was home like and all the basics were well covered, no complaints!!

The location was perfect and it felt like home.Cleanliness was good and it was located close to the beach. The amenities were good too, with all our practical needs taken care for.
