Although we knew it before going it was a little far from the main areas of Florence and we had to take a taxi to and from there.

It was as it appeared on the booking.com site. Restaurant had good food and breakfast was included.

Although we got family rooms, sound carried really easily through the walls and we often had to try to keep the noise down when the kids were playing both indoors and out. Also there were no areas in the garden or in the rooms where we could bring in our own food, forcing us to go to restaurants for all our meals.

The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was located at the top of a very steep hill. At the beginning of each day it was fine going into the city on a downhill, but after a full day of walking, returning to the hotel was painful. Got some good exercise though!

Absolutely nothing, however for me a kettle in my room would have been a lovely addition to make a cup of tea or coffee. This is my go to first thing in the morning & bedtime

It felt like we were in a movie set; gorgeous. A tranquil space away from the chaos of touristic areas up in the hills, but, we did not mind the walk as the route to central Florence took around 20-30 mins through a beautiful garden. The room and bathroom was quite spacious. The staff were wonderful and gave us recommendations. As for the breakfast, it was a delight! There is a great selection to choose from, where you can then have your breakfast on a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden and pool. The house's history is quite interesting too with a lot of the furniture categorized as priceless antiques.

Can't believe that the eggs and bacon were stone cold - inedible from our point of view. Breakfast overall was disappointing. Also a bit far to walk to the centre of Florence.

Staff were helpful and room was great. A really good restaurant was only a 10 minute walk but we only knew about it because the hotel told Uus about it.

Beautiful Palazzo set in the hills overlooking Florence. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a good size bathroom with lovely toiletries. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the pool, a great way to start the day! The breakfast was very good with a lovely selection to choose from. The public areas are beautiful, more like staying in a fabulous house, with a great lounge/sitting room and grand staircase in the hallway. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great pool area which is great to relax by and a respite from sightseeing in Florence. There are couple of local restaurants within walking distance but if you want real choice you have to go into Florence which is a 20 minute walk and includes a steep downhill or a bus ride. Great base to explore the wider area either by train or car.

Location of hotel is at a top of a hill if you’re walking from Florence city centre and can be a bit of a slough most of the time we took a taxi ride back to our hotel at about 20 euros .We would always walk down the hill to get into the centre of the old town but you could always try catching the bus as there’s a bus stop outside the hotel.

Nice and quiet hotel with good grounds,swimming pool and nice staff . Breakfast was good and our room was clean and comfortable. Would go back to this hotel if we return to Florence

Had lots of character. We wanted something in Florence that was historic. Room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Enjoyed the pool and garden after a busy day seeing the sites of Florence.

A little walk from the centre so a cab home but the walk down in the morning was great .

No cold water or nice, however it was a heat wave and every day was 40 degrees so i do not blame the facility. Just something to be mindful of in the future.

LOVED the location, we are an athletic family, so for us, using the back streets to get to and from the center of Florence was amazing! The vibe was incredible to be able to walk off in our own direction after a day of shopping and feasting, and have a safe family walk home to the hotel. Beautiful neighbourhood. Beautiful facilities
