1. Hospitality 10*- The owners helped us to take our bags up to the 4th floor and bring our bags down as there is no lift in the building and the stairs are steep. Room - mountains view. The hosts allowed us to check in earlier than the specified 14:00. We arrived at 10 a.m. and we got a room. Grazie mille :) 2. Cleanliness 10+: rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed daily (some towels should be replaced with new ones). 3. Breakfast can be chosen from the menu provided, which is the same. 4. The beauty of Viareggio buildings, streets, blooming alleys. Must be tasted Pasticceria Patalani, Laboratorio del gelato. 5. Conad city (mini market) 5 minutes from the promenade - smaller. Bigger one conad city 5 min. near the church tower. Esselunga super market 17 min. road from the hotel towards the train station. 6. 3 min. walk to the beach. Hotel offers discount for Bagno Milano (July 26 Eur, from 15:30 18 Eur). 7. 15 minutes away from the train station, from which you can reach many cities - Florence, Siena, Lucca, etc. In 40-60 min. can reach La Spezia, and from there 5-7 min. on the way to Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore, etc.). It is worth buying a one-day Cinque Terre train ticket for an adult at La Spezia train station for 32.50 EUR, otherwise a one-way ticket between towns/to one town costs 10 EUR per person. Spectacular views from the sea with a boat tour from Riomaggiore until 13:30 the boat stops in every village, price 41 EUR. From 13:30, the price is 28 Eur, the boat disembarks only in Vernazza, sails to Monterosso and back.

Staircases (2:ed floor) and the bedroom was not practical.

The staff was firendly, location was perfekt, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good.

Stayed for one night for convenience of location to Pisa Airport for early flight. We were warmly grated by Paolo who booked us in and directed us to room- He spoke very good english. Our room was on first floor with external balcony- spotless clean. Good shower and some toiletries provided. Easy access to beach area and local to restaurants. We left early following morning so were not able to have breakfast - but the dining area was well set out and plenty fof food was being prepared

Be aware that the hotel has 4 stories and no lift. The stairs are also steep and quite narrow.

We were on a city break of 4 days aimed at exploring the Tuscan Riviera. This location was perfect for our needs. The hotel is great and the people working here are very polite and helpful. It is a well ran family business. The rooms are very clean and the views from the last floor are amazing.

Bad wi-fi connection in the 3rd floor, always breaking and interrupting.

Really good breakfasts: you can choose whatever you like from the provided menu. No lift, but staff notify the guests and help with the luggage. Good and helpful staff. Nice location in center with around 3 min to the sea and 20 min walk to Viareggio station. Beach access with the lower prices.

The staff was super friendly and very sweet. The entrance to the hotel is so warm and welcoming. Likewise it’s very comforting that the hotel is always locked.

Not having a lift is a shame but Paulo offered, without being asked, to help us with our luggage which made all the difference

We really enjoyed our stay at the Paolina family hotel. We appreciated the excellent breakfast. The hotel is located very close to the beach. The staff is amazingly nice and helpful. The best staff ever!
