Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomTh service in some areas needs some further attention. In particular the housekeeping, which really wasn’t good enough for a four star hotel. On some days, it looked like they had only spent a few minutes on the cleaning, and the cups and any dirty crockery and cutlery were left for a few days, until I left them a note to ask for their removal. They were not replaced with teaspoons for making drinks. My husband was unwell for a few days, and although we left the room as much as possible to allow for cleaning, it was obvious that the bedding hadn’t been changed. Again, I had to ask the cleaning staff to do that for us. The other area which could do with attention is the breakfast service. The team are very young, and although keen, they sometimes seemed overwhelmed by the workload, and were trying to divide their time between service and clearing tables. It didn’t feel like a particularly relaxing start to our day.
Its location, the decor, and the fantastic bar staff, Vincent and Marco, who were exceptionally talented and welcoming.

The room was gorgeous - it was large, the bed was comfortable, it was glam and modern and super clean. There was plenty of room to spread out comfortably, the bathroom was beautiful and the provided amenities were wonderful, including a tote bag and slippers. Great bath products. The 10EUR breakfast was fantastic, the staff was super friendly and the location was incredible!!! Loved being on the water but in a slightly quieter neighborhood.
