Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Oh wow what a treat this accomodation was! Probably the nicest place I've ever stayed and I'm very well travelled. It was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect, within walking distance of everything. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were so friendly too. Fresh towels and bottles of water each day of our stay. I've been telling all of my friends about it.

It was also great to be able to just head down stairs to a restaurant on the street after arrival. Breakfast was great. Loved the fresh fruit spread each morning and eggs cooked for us. The top floor studio has a massive terrace which is a super perk to enjoy mornings and evenings on private outdoors space with view of the city. Very special. The service is excellent and everyone is super polite and sweet.

The room is fantastic! Everything about it was perfect. Its not a hotel room, its more like a big flat that you have all by yourself. Bathroom is great and clean. The design of the room and toilett is beautiful. I felt like home. Unfortunately we could stay only 1 night, because it was full booked.

United StatesMio dio! This was my favorite place on our whole two week trip. Everything was incredible. We had the room with the terrace overlooking the city and we LOVED the charm and homey-ness of the room. One morning we asked if we could take our breakfast on the terrace. We figured we'd just carry up a couple plates but they instead brought us a whole tray filled with what we wanted. I felt so cared for. I can't begin to tell you how great this property was. Even though it was in the heart of the city, it was also so peaceful. The staff were so kind and helpful. I cannot wait to go back!
