Amazing property, super comfortable bed, the staff is great and the location is perfect. I was there for the first time 7 years ago, during my wedding, and since then the hotel only got better. I will always stay here.

Slightly noisy with construction going on opposite the hotel from around 7 am in the morning. I had assumed the spa facilities were included by they weren't. Additional cost of 50 euros per person per day. Wish I'd checked the small print as could have saved a fortune & stayed somewhere else. Outside pool not heated & too cold to use - stayed at end of September 2024.

The Italian / Peruvian menu was outside of our experience. No doubt excellent, we were not aware if an English version. The menu items did have English descriptions but there were not so helpful. Sorry!

For the price this doesn’t live up to it’s 5 star rating and we expected breakfast to included. Asking for another 50 Euros for us to have minimal breakfast isn’t great either. We found some great cafes nearby.

Noise is a factor which the hotel can't help. There is a lot of construction work going on in Rome generally which is to do with the Jubilee celebrations and i suspect 2026 will be a great year to visit. The rooms are well sound proofed and the Romans penchant for using their car horns does not interfere with ones enjoyment of the space. The pool area is small and combines with the outdoor restaurant. It felt as if the ownership of the hotel and the restaurant was separate. Breakfast is simple, good quality but a bit narrow in terms of choices. The staff tried very hard to provide good service but in my view were hampered by processes which had to be followed. Maybe a little more flexibility from the management would allow the staff to use their initiative a bit more. They were good people. The hotel is expensive which was to be expected. One felt a little self conscious sitting by the pool with diners looking on. Getting a taxi at peak times is difficult and its better to walk and then hail one as you go.

A very lovely period hotel in a very good location. All the main sights were within walking distance. Very nice and unusual to have a swimming pool in the centre of Rome. Decor was stylish and the hotel was well presented. We enjoyed our stay. We were in a suite which had a lovely balcony but the sun has gone by 2.30pm because of the direction in which the hotel is set. I would recommend a room facing the pool if possible.

Room stunk - no garden view at all. Also, ate lunch one day and my wife only ate 1/2 of her burger - they had no doggie bags to take the remaining 1/2 to go; they told us that the remaining 1/2 would be delivered to our room - it never was!!

Great location near Paizza Del Popolo. Walked everywhere including landmarks, restaurants & shopping. Staff were friendly, good breakfast, pool was fantastic as it was hot during our stay & hotel itself is beautiful.

Beautiful Hotel! The staff was so helpful. They arranged private tours for us, and transport to the airport. We felt well taken care of. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, the bed and pillows were comfortable. They actually have a pillow menu. We took advantage of the pool area. So beautiful!!!!!!!! Loved our stay. Oh, and an original Andy Warhol in the reception area, cool!

Palazzo Dama is a true gem of a hotel in the city of Rome. The pool is a delight, and a very welcome amenity - especially after trekking through Rome on foot in the middle of a hot summer. The entire staff was so hospitable and kind. I must mention how attentive the bar and restaurant staff were around the pool. Our entire family felt so grateful to everyone on the hotel staff. The room was amazing with an outdoor terrace overlooking the pool and inner courtyard. Highly recommend.

I like this hotel - this was my second visit.

This is a great stay option in Rome, especially in the summer as it has a pool and an outside area under the trees. The hotel is brilliantly located. Food is good and service really wonderful. I received an upgrade to a huge Suite and it was amazing. I would go back to Rome and book that room again - it was brilliant.

Can be a little noisy due to its proximity to the lungotevere. Not a buggy in August given most of the locals desert the city to go on holidays, but I suspect it would be a lot worse in other months.. I happened to use the (male/disabled) toilet of the lobby, which I found quite neglected: wobbly seat, no soap to wash my hands (had to sneak into the female one to find some, only to realise that the outer area had more sinks and soap!). Overall, a little pricy given the location and all of the above considerations.

Above all… the bed. Probably one of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, so much so that my wife and I have requested the details of their suppliers. Just… wow! The style of the interiors and the courtyard with the pool. Food and drinks at Pacifico were amazing even though I don’t fancy fusion cuisine.

I think this is the best luxury hotel in Rome for people who value real quality over fake appearance.

The hotel room was a decent size but there was not enough storage space for our clothes.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right near Piazza del Popolo! I absolutely loved the pool and garden area - it was such a cozy retreat. But the real stars of the show were the staff. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The dinner menu was very average, but there are many alternative restaurants in Rome that the staff recommend.

We loved the building, how it was decorated and located. The staff were very helpful aswell. Having a swimming pool was a real bonus following a hard day walking around the city.
