The bathroom all glassed in in the center of the room is a little funky. Fortunately the toilet and bidet are in a private room.

This 13th century palazzo is an incredibly unique experience. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was the best we ever had in a hotel like that. The staff was so nice and helpful. The location is ideal in the center of Siena but also quiet.

Strange layout with a big encased bath and sinks right in the middle of the room, left little space to have a comfortable additional sitting area. The bath, was however, a treat after a long days travelling and walking. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful.

We loved how welcome we felt immediately upon arrival - we were a little early but it was no problem for us to have a cup of tea (or coffee had we desired) and complete our check in. While the parking is situated outside the walls of the city we were given really good directions for the car park before we arrived and a discount voucher to use. Location of the hotel is an easy walk to the main thoroughfare and the cathedrals. There was not a huge selection for breakfast but it was nice. The building is absolutely gorgeous and we loved its ambience.

This is a very minor point, the shower in our room wasn’t that user friendly so we preferred to have a bath instead.

Palazzetto Rosso is in a great location, on a quiet street close to the Cathedral and Piazza del Campo. There’s lots of shops, restaurants and cafes close by. The building is an old palace, although it’s been renovated in a modern style, I love the juxtaposition of the old and new. It has a lovely breakfast/bar area just off the reception which is very peaceful and ideal to relax in after a day’s sightseeing. They have an honesty bar so you can help yourself to wine and spirits and pay the bill later. There are a small number of rooms, 9 in total, we were number 6. It’s a very large comfortable room, quite red and funky which was in stark contrast to the huge fireplace and high ceilings with lovely frescoes. There was lots of choice at breakfast. However what we appreciated most was the warm welcome from the staff, they have lots of suggestions and ideas to help you make the most of your stay. We’d highly recommend staying here.

It was a perfect location for all our touring and sightseeing. Wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Really excellent. we loved our stay and we loved Siena.

Parking charges are quite expensive.

Hotel was unique - built in an old palace, room design & amenities were modern comfortable & clean, although a bit narrow. Location was a bit away from the noisier part of the Siena town centre, and not too far from the parking - although it can be a bit tiring if carrying heavy luggage. But otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

The elevator is scary! I definitely took the stairs when I could.

What a funky hotel. Loved it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts are great. I liked how they even chopped up all the fruits beforehand to compliment my morning favourite granola, yoghurt and fruit bowls. I appreciated having a bathtub to soak in for a rest day on my pilgrimage to Rome on the Via Francigena.

Everything was awesome there and we should have stayed longer (next time)! The property was over the top, the staff was very helpful with taxi reservations, restaurant and wine tour recommendation ( Mazzei Winery Castello Di Fonterutoli). We would definitely recommend Palazzetto Rosso - Art Hotel, it was beautiful!!

There was more of a walk to the hotel from the car park than we expected.

I liked EVERYTHING. The most beautifully appointed boutique hotel we've ever stayed in. From the quality of the bed linen and towels to the well-stocked mini-fridge; the stunning decor, the incredible breakfast.....and the staff.....the building was originally a palace, and all the staff treated us like royalty. Seriously. If you want to feel pampered and really valued, stop what you are doing right now, and book a stay in this hotel!
