I just think that the rooms they assign to reservations in booking.com are the not so good. We had a room on the first floor with no view. Asked to be moved to another room with at least some view and they said they did not have any rooms available which seem odd because the hotel was not booked at 100%

Room with no noise on arrival.

When we first arrived we were given a room on the first floor overlooking the street and the noise was terrible, The staff were great and relocated us to a much quieter room on the 5th Floor. This was ok until we were woken by a dog in the next room. The dog had been left by its owners when they went for their breakfast and the hotel staff set about finding them, when they did eventually return to the room they were very abusive. I am not sure if the hotel staff were aware of the dog in the room. Overall the staff were brilliant and very friendly and enjoyed our stay a part for the couple of issues.

Owing to a delay, we missed our connecting flight to Brindisi, so flew to Bari instead and made the booking via the app on the train from the airport. On arrival late at night, we were given a genuine, warm welcome and a terrific recommendation for somewhere to eat that was round the corner and still open. The location was excellent, less than ten minutes' walk from the railway station, and very good for the port and old town, where we had a good walk round the next morning. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Next time, we will probably elect to fly Bari and stay here.

It was a single room whose bed is in a corner, in front of a wall. TV is on a side of the bed - not a good idea. Shower screen requires a change. Although clean, the floor has a carpet that does not give that impression. Breakfast is very disappointed for a 4**** Luxe... I have been in hotels of 3*** with much better breakfast. No fresh juice or lack of variety with cheap ham. The last day I got a breakfast box because my plane left very early and it was really poor.

Beds were really comfortable, high quality mattress. The room was clean, although the room has a carpet and the shower screen requires a change. The room also had a white and clean bathrobe. Location is very good. 15min walk from Bari Centrale and 10min walk from the Old Town

We were told the hotel bar served until 22.30 and closed at 23.00. This, we found, was not the case. The barman refused to serve after 22.00/22.15 and was frequently absent from the bar area. A request from a friend for the loan of a corkscrew was declined, it was his PERSONAL corkscrew, but he would accompany our friend to HER room and employ it there, not very appropriate. We were unaware that Monday was the chefs day off which meant menu was reduced to mixed salad!! The absence of electric sockets and USB ports was an inconvenience.

Breakfast was excellent, room was clean and comfortable, location was ideal for exploring the old town and also for shopping.

Air conditioning was set to season rather than daily temperature, so our room was hot and no air conditioning available.

Our room was at the front of the hotel so there was noise from the street, soundproofing for the windows could be better.

Hotel is well located close to the old town and the waterfront, as well as close to the shopping streets that run from the train station to the old town. Room was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and breakfast included a reasonable selection.

A perfectly located hotel. Clean and comfortable. We had the junior suite, which is a great room with city view but can be very noisy during the night due to noise from outside. This may bother some. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff were nice and the room is cleaned very well on a consistent basis. Overall, a good hotel which we do not hesitate to stay in on other occasions.
