One hotel stuff worker knocked at my door at 12.00 a.m. asking me to do check out, although I was told on reception that I can check out till 12.30 a.m.

The rest of the hotel is dated and old. Our room carpet was stained.

Friendly, professional, and helpful staff. Good breakfast. We had dinner once and it was also great. The restaurant is modern. Comfortable beds Location as expected, centre of Milan is easily accessible by metro (10 minute walk to the station, 15 minutes to the central station (4 stops, 1 change). We needed a good base for a 4 night stay so it was fine.

I don't like the entrance as I can smell the uncleaned carpet and also only 1 elevator is functioning and for some reason it stops at every floor.

I like the fact that it has a pool and the breakfast is okay but I think they should extend the hours of using the pool.

Our room was not great, tired and the fridge was malfunctioning and flashing constantly, one of our children's camp beds was also missing wooden slats leaving it uncomfortable. Asked at reception for someone to attend to this however nothing happened. We asked to move room and got put into a room which was directly next to the hotel lift's or service lift's "engine" room - meaning a constant noise throughout the day and night, asked to move again and thankfully spoke to a lovely lady on reception called Laura who was apologetic and arranged for us to move to a nicer, quieter room over the corridor. For the three night stay we had in Milan, the third night was excellent! Thanks to Laura.

As you would expect from a Novotel the public areas, breakfast and facilities were great, our room was dated though and the location wasn't ideal for tourists looking to go to the city centre regularly.

As soon as you walk in there’s a serious smell of food mixed with carpet which isn’t pleasant. Our rooms window was also left open by the previous guest which led us to getting lots of mosquitos bites during the night. It was a hair line open and we never noticed so watch out if your window is slightly open there are lots of mosquitos in that area.

Hotel staff was very welcoming and it was clean. Good for a 1 night stay. Staff also were very nice to have kept our bag which we had forgotten in our room at the front desk for us to go back to recuperate it.

The pool was freezing but worse were the mosquitoes which meant we couldn’t use the pool. In just 5 mins we were all bitten to the extent we had to leave.

The swimming pool was full of chlorine. The drinks at the hotel bar were quite expensive for Italy.

Good hotel for what we needed. A lot of games for kids including an entertainment lady after dinner that helped to have a nice evening. Breakfast was very good.
