Best place we’ve stayed in Italy! So fantastic to have a kitchen, a lounge room and sofa, and a brilliant terrace above the rooftops! Location was absolutely brilliant - 5 mins from st marks square in a great neighbourhood of restaurants, shops, canals and a great piazza. We did mask-making just a few doors up. Had the best time.

- Perfect location, very close to the main docks and St Mark’s Square, but tucked away enough that you’re not affected by the noise and the crowd. Close to many nice cafes and restaurants. - All the amenities were provided as described - Apartment is spacious, clean and very charming - Host takes the initiative to contact us early on (though whatsapp), and was very responsive throughout the stay

Awesome stay - ideal location, very easy to access and the best option if you're looking for a place in Venice. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very nice views and was bigger than expected! Probably the best accommodations in our entire Italy trip. Easy communication and instructions over whatsapp. Very easy to take luggage to and from the San Zaccaria stop. Thank you for hosting us!

Really nothing, but if we had to nitpick, the living room and kitchen were a bit dark in terms of natural light, but seeing as how we were almost never there in the daytime, that didn't really matter. We could have used additional wine glasses, but we made do with regular drinking glasses. ;-) It was not a problem for us, but just mind the note about the apartment being on the second floor with a fairly narrow staircase if that is a consideration.

Alessandro was SO helpful when meeting us to escort us to the property even though we managed to take the wrong vaporetto from the airport; he also helped us figure out how to get to Trieste at the end of our stay, which went over and beyond. We appreciated the welcome prosecco and water and coffee supplies. The location was wonderful for accessing the main tourist sites and beyond. It was a very quiet location at night, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and functional. Air conditioning worked wonderfully. It was really a perfect fit overall for our group (one couple and one single).

Beautiful, well-appointed apartment, with everything we needed. A real home from home. Located in a very central but quiet location, with some lovely piazzas and cafes close by. Alessandro was so helpful and accommodating and we really appreciated the welcome gifts. Eating on the terrace, looking out over the rooftops, listening to the church bells will be an enduring memory. We hope to return to Venice soon and will definitely stay at Nikki House.

The only drawback is that the unit is up two flights of stairs and the bedroom is up a third flight. This was not a problem for us, but consider this if you have difficulty climbing stairs. On the plus side, the host kindly assisted us with the luggage when we arrived, which was much appreciated.

The host was very helpful and he even arranged to meet us at the boat dock upon arrival, which was very helpful. The apartment was roomy and nicely furnished. The location couldn't have been better for us.

Nothing. Everything was great.

We caught the bus from Marco Polo airport to Piazzale Roma and then the Vaporetto (4.1 or 5.1) to San Zaccaria (near San Marco). Luca met us at the Vaparetto stop, helped us carry our luggage to the apartment and showed us the facilities. He was very helpful and made some great suggestions for where to eat and drink in the city. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable, in a lovely secluded location and only a 5 minute walk from San Marco. The apartment has all the equipment needed for a self-catering holiday with two co-op shops nearby. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Venice in a few years time.

Nikki House is one of the most romantic places where I have stayed in my life. Cielo apartment is more than perfect for romantic getaway in Venice. Views from windows and balcony were breathtaking. Everything we needed was in apartment and location was ideal for sightseeings.

The bed is really hard. If you like a hard bed like my husband then you will be happy with it. Be aware that the shower door only opens about 14 inches wide. If this is a problem for you find a different place.

The location was great and the little balcony was really nice to have.
