Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SwitzerlandHotel is not the newest, e.g. elevators not new, but that didn't make our visit worse. Maybe would make sense to somehow separate the reception area from the restaurant area.
Super nice and kind staff at the reception and guest relations! Very nice district, safe, charming. We didn't take breakfast, so cannot judge.

ItalyRoom was small and curtains were dusty. the air conditioning fan is making noise. They could offer allergy free pillows. Carpet floor of corridors is old. They don't sell water when the bar closes because they have a different company managing the bar.
Beautiful building with nice furnitures and great location. kettle and tea are good.

United States2 things - the room was very small and the price was very high. That room might have been worth 1/2 the price, but was not worth what we paid.
The location was great, an easy walk to the town center and an even closer walk to the Vatican and the Metro. The breakfast was very good as well. The room was quiet and the bathroom was nice. The air conditioning was great.

Saudi ArabiaThe rooms were a bit on the small side with little space for two people with their luggage. If you are hoping to close to the main attractions of Rome, the Hotel is situated a little of the beaten track, but you can get to a station, bus stop or use a taxi with ease from the hotel.
The hotel was exceptional in service and amenities provided. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also arranged a early pick up by Taxi to FCO airport. Breakfast was incredible with a wide spread that will cater to the needs of most travelers. The room was clean and well prepared. The beds were super comfortable. The hotel is in a quite area of Rome within walking distance of some restaurants and Travel options.

Nice clean hotel with good size rooms for a European hotel. Had a large breakfast buffet that was included in our stay. Fairly good location as we walked to all of the sites and shopping.
