Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NorwayParking charges were not informed about in advance, small bottle of water is not complimentary as in all hotels, queue at the reception to check out, pc stations had to be built (empty carton boxes which would level up the ergonomic needs of the employees) by the employees in front of customers. These are small and easy to fix details, which were ignored sadly. NH hotel chain will be avoided for a couple of years at least. Sincere wishes for good luck in getting better guys.
The overall experience was fine. It was the small details which were missing up to a level it was irritating.

United KingdomOur room was at the end of the corridor very close to the train station. We could hear trains passing during the night. It may have been less of an issue at the other end of the building.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We opted to have the breakfast which was an excellent spread of very high quality food including local specialities. We chose the hotel as it was close to the station as we had a train to catch in the morning. We have stayed in NH hotels before and find them to be a high standard and good value for money

SwitzerlandBreakfast was a delusion: I was asked to pay for two fried eggs...... and renounced after I claimed this. The chef de cuisine told me that what was served was available, and fried eggs was out of the program. The second day of our stay, which was my birthday, I asked again the same two fried eggs and had it, offered by the kitchen...It seems incredible that a guest should pay extra for two fried eggs. By the way, at NH in Siena they did not charged for this type of request. The room was just ok. No decoration at all. Quite sad.
