No balcony to enjoy the views but at no fault of the hotel. We had a window we could see some of the city and the Duomo. We had dinner at the restaurant and for the price we weren’t too impressed with the food. We had better food in many of the city’s restaurants. The breakfast was good.

The wifi was off during our stay and there wasn’t WiFi in the rooms, but the staff made our stay so special, we didn’t even care so much…

We are a family of 5 and we ordered 2 rooms. We loved the size of the rooms, the hotel ambiance and decor, the personal service, but most incredible was the staff. Every single staff member in this hotel is professional, accurate, caring - high quality service indeed. Our stay was super incredible. And the hotel is situated within a walking distance of everything.

It was perfect in every way! The only thing I didn’t like is having to leave this gem!

My family and I loved everything about our experience at Baglioni Hotel Santa Croce. From the prompt and professional email responses to my various questions and requests prior to arrival to the staff during our entire stay, everything was beyond incredible. The hotel is gorgeous, with its rich history, amazing location, large and spacious air conditioned rooms and the amazing perfume scent permeating the entire property! We travel ALOT and this was by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at in all of Europe. What a hidden gem! Highly recommend!

Excellent buffet breakfast in a beautiful room. Service by Elena was 10/10. Service was exceptional overall. Special mention also to Danisa who checked us in and looked after us during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

I’d say a little further away from the center than I would like but I am being nit picky. Florence isn’t very big. This is ~ a 12 minute walk to the Duomo.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with great staff. All staff members ensured we had a wonderful stay, starting from the concierge who is always present (morning and night) at the entrance of the hotel to the reception desk and restaurant staff members. We received a free upgrade for our 2 night stay and the room was gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and when asked to buy their own baked cookies, they offered the recipe to make some at home! We received multiple personal notes from hotel manager along with complementary goodies throughout the stay. Very friendly and professional staff. The hotel is walking distance to all the major attractions within Florence city center.
