The facilities were dated and room was very sparsely furnished. It was clean and breakfast was sufficient. Nothing hot.

Stairs in the entrance without lift so be mindful of your luggage.

I love the location. It is walking distance to the duomo, ponte Vecchio, central market and many more attractions. We did all of our sightseeing by foot. I love the breakfast in the morning. They had cornettos, bread, ham, cheese, fruits, yogurt, orange juice and a full coffee machine and normal brew americano as well. The room was nice, they had a space where they portrayed part of the ancient structure. You can see the wall in part of the toilet area. We visited during winter and the temperature was super nice in the room. Heaters work very good and we had nice views.

There could have been a wider selection of breakfast and the cleanliness can be imporved. We haven't had any major issues.

The location of the place is excellent, close both to the main station and to the city center. The staff is nice and helpful. Both the room and the bathroom is spacious.

We stayed in room 27 and our ensuite had nowhere to hang our wet towels overnight. This was disappointing as we had to either hang over shower or leave folded on stool or bidet which meant they didn't dry for the morning.

The location of Hotel Monica is fantastic if you want to explore the city. We walked everywhere from the hotel daily. Our room was basic but met all our requirements and the aircon excellent to keep the mosquitoes at bay. The breakfast was very generous including yoghurts, a choice of cereal, fresh fruit, croissants, ham, cheese, orange juice, bread, honey/jam/marmalade coffee, tea and we enjoyed this on the beautiful courtyard terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The entry area had a really bad smell and in the room, you have always it. There were no people in reception only at the breakfast time. They hadn't any blankets. Breakfast was very simple. But the location was fantastic.

The only downside was the check-in had to be done at another hotel which was only down the street. Not ideal after a long journey.

The room was spacious and clean in a very quiet area. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to choose from. The owner was very helpful with what to do in Firenze.

The beds were not that comfortable.

The location was perfect. Really close to the train station as well as the main historical attractions. The bathroom was completely remodeled with great water pressure. They held our luggage after we checked out while we toured the city.
