A very special hotel, an amazing location with a very beautiful view, a special pool with a sea view, the hotel staff is amazing

Had an issue with electrics in our room(lights wouldn't turn off) so we had to have the power shut down completely overnight..which wasn't ideal....as we also lost air con. Had to call them back in the morning to turn the power back on. room on the small size but very pleasant and appreciate they are working within an old building. Restaurant was very quiet..only us and one other table for dinner...

Nothing at all. Perfect.

Elegant and luxurious stay. Staff very helpful and polite. The room was comfortable and they did housekeeping twice a day. The property is so green and has comfortable sitouts everywhere. The infinity pool is amazing and so is the thermal spa which was complimentary. They even gave us a farewell gift of tomato sauce and pasta which we loved. This clearly is one of my best stays ever - i have stayed across 5 stars over the world but this experience is the most memorable and i will always remember. Thanks Team Monastero S & R!

Nothing! We loved everything at the hotel.

I really loved how attentive the staff were to our every need. The meals we had were absolutely phenomenal at the hotel- and we loved how small it was so the hotel restaurant wasn't too crowded when we went. We really appreciated the intimate nature of the hotel- it really felt like our own private oasis away from the crowded Amalfi Coast. Also, the spa was to die for!

This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything is just marvellous, from the rooms, to breakfast, dinner and the attentive staff. Just incredible! We came to celebrate my partners birthday and they exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended and we can't wait to get back.

Pool staff could be better trained and more attentive. Can't really fault anything else so it should get a 9.9 really. I was going to award 9 but I think on balance I might have to amend to a 10!

Incredible views, our lovely room, gorgeous bathroom with underfloor heating, sun terrace next to our room where you can order drinks from the bar, gorgeous non-buffet breakfasts, wonderful restaurant, amazing spa and spa staff and free therme spa, beautiful gardens, peaceful location and peaceful, calming hotel building, gorgeous lighting with candles at night.

Everything There isn’t probably going to be any hotel and any hotel staff this cordial… they will exceed your expectations in every way… it’s on the costlier side no doubt… but believe me it’s all worth it and the behaviour of all the staff members will make your stay beyond imagination… Thanks to the entire staff members for such a lovely stay

Nothing! Would definitely recommend this romantic hotel for couples and I miss this place the most the whole trip. It makes me very calm.

Amazing property and very elegant room. Initially we were worried as the room on Booking.com looked small and dark. We were wrong. The room was very elegant and bright and cozy! It looks very well maintained and new though it has been opened for more than 10 years. Gym is slightly dusted as it’s outdoor but it’s not hot in the morning in July as shades and fan keep it cool. Property is amazing and the pool view is 12/10! Now I see why it took 12 years to restore this place. What a beautiful and amazing property.

We we're not very impressed with Amalfi and how difficult it is to get around! Neither of those things are the hotel's fault. Despite this, everything about the hotel is perfect and we hope to be back again someday!

The staff is AMAZING! The food is AMAZING! The pool & views are AMAZING. We hope to be able to come back for a stay again soon!
