Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is within short walking distance from the train station which is perfect for a short stay in Pisa. The owners were so very nice and friendly. We had a spacious triple room with a sink so we were not missing anything.

United StatesI am diabetic. There wasn’t anything at breakfast that wasn’t full of carbohydrates so I didn’t eat anything. It would have been nice if there was apples, pears or bananas. At least some kind of fruit. Some kind of meat would be good too.
The staff was very helpful with ideas of places to see and do. We were able to leave our luggage there until check-in time.

United StatesBreakfast was all carbohydrates. Not good for diabetics. There was no fruit or eggs. They could at least have apples/oranges. Noisy with the train tracks right behind it. Fortunately there aren’t many trains during the night.

United KingdomLittle old and tired building. Uncomfy pillows. Noisy as can be expected from very central location next to train station. No lift, bit difficult with suitcases. Breakfast fairly basic. Only old Italian style plugs, no round European style ones. We were able to borrow a converter plug from the hotel.
Friendly staff provided a map and good advice for city walk. We could leave luggage at the hotel after check out while we explored the city. Comfy mattress. Close to airport (15 minute walk with suitcases) and city (easy 30 minutes walk to the tower).

Fantastic location, friendly welcoming staff, 24hr reception service so safety was great too. Great family run hotel. Good value for the price and a small breakfast included. Cleaning service daily. Would highly recommend staying here. We stayed in the en-suite double room.
