Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room was absolutely INFESTED with bed bugs and the manager had no idea how to handle it. We were there for only a few hours but my wife and I watched tv in bed with the light on for no more than 1.5 hours and still managed to get bitten 15 times between us I can only imagine how awful it could have been if we had actually stayed a night there with the light off. They were crawling on the curtain and the wall so who knows where else they were. We told the manager and he just offered to take the curtain down and spray the room and expected us to still stay there! They couldn't offer us another room as they were full but the room must have had an infestation for weeks to get to that level. We had to leave at midnight and find somewhere to wrap our luggage in plastic as you can't stay in a room with bed bugs. We then had to pay 3 times the cost of the room for another hotel at such short notice and also clean and dry all of our clothes on a high heat the next day just to try and not bring them back home. I understand that these things can happen so asked the hotel to refund us for the hotel we had to use at short notice or at least to refund the room rate for this hotel but they refused to refund anything. Later when we complained to booking.com, they told us that the property had claimed these were not bed bugs but "black ladybugs". We have photos and video evidence that clearly shows otherwise. The bed bug infestation should have been picked up by any cleaner and it had clearly been going for many weeks given the level of infestation. The way this was handled by management including the lies and refusal to even refund us for the night was unacceptable and I would never recommend staying here.

United KingdomWithout car hire this is not good location. Buses are not reliable and charge from.hotel to centre of Bellagio is €70! No local information is provided in bedrooms. Rooms are very dated. Only one plug socket that took my adapter. Bed uncomfortable, no kettle, WiFi not great. Restaurant service is very slow and waiting time to be served drinks is very long, they do not permit you to go to bar yourself. Slow to respond to emails before arrival. Breakfast charge increased after booking too. Would not stay here again.

United KingdomPerhaps AC would be nice but the rooms were cool enough that this was not necessary at all.
The owners were incredibly nice and welcoming during our entire stay. They made sure we were aware of all the places on their property we could go to for our leisure and also more information on the area and lake como. The food at the restaurant here was really good and reasonably priced - they also accommodated to our times and allowed us to check in a little earlier as well as worked around the times for serving dinner and breakfast.

The staff were really lovely. Welcomed us even though we were early, let us sit all night over a couple of glasses of wine - couldn’t have been nicer. View from our room was out over the route of the Italy cycle race so could watch motorbikes and cycles passing all day - fab!!!

It was very hot and there was no air conditioning hence the windows needed to be open allowing more noise in the room. The room and hotel is very dated. Overall for the price we paid I do not rate this hotel as value for money.

We ate excellently pizza on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Lake. My daughters were able to have fun in the large equipped park made available to customers. There was a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by greenery. The breakfast was very abundant, rich in food and with no limits on consumption. We were given a beautiful room with a Lake view balcony next to my little daughters room. The welcome was very warm, friendly and impactful. We will definitely return to spend other days in this structure
