Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustriaNo any kitchen. No coffee machine, only instant coffee. Small shower.
Super great host. Landlady gave me advice on what to do, and where to try local cuisine. The floor in the room is made out of tiles, that are super colourful and nice. I stayed in Mai, so the floor was warm. Can be cold in winter. Super comfortable mattresses.

The room was spacious and clean, so was the bathroom. You have a little common balcony as well. Host was very friendly and helpful. Its very close to the center

The host was excellent with myself and my daughter, helpful, maps and locations, to visit and information and buses to the famous poetto beach, absolutely stunning location and beach for the family. Everyone in shops or cafes very helpful and a great location for wandering around Cagliari

ItalyThe room faces a balcony which is shared with other guests in the house. They can see through your room, so you will have to lower the shutters if you are in, especially when coming out of the shower :)
Great location, in the core of the city center, the host is great, fast responsive and really helpful for anything you may need during your stay. We had a few requests which were fulfilled in no time. Recommended.

United StatesYou can’t really say this is a Bed and Breakfast B&B if no breakfast is actually provided. We had to buy our own bowls, spoons, cereal, and milk to have breakfast. There is a refrigerator and freezer but no microwave to heat up leftovers. Tea and instant coffee is available. But I do wish they actually had a coffee machine. They should changed us to just calling it a guest house, because a B&B isn’t really true. Though I would recommend they get a microwave, and have some plates, utensils/cutlery, and bowls on hand for the convenience of their guests.
It’s a great location! Very close to everything you need. Rooms are held to hotel standards with cleanliness and quality of linens and towels. I found everything to be very comfortable and all you need is in convenient walking distance. Bathroom has good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
