No free luggage storage before check-in or after check-out. Baggage storage was expensive at 6.65 euros per bag. Cheaper than the train station but more expensive than other online options. Air conditioning could only be set to 3 degrees below the outside temperature. This might be a problem on very hot days.

Very new building. Modern facilities. Electric sockets by each bed. Well-equipped kitchen. Fast wifi. Bright and inviting common areas. Close to Mestre station and a huge supermarket.

I was very happy with Meininger. However, travels who don't like interacting with large school groups in the lobby should be aware that this is one of the constituencies that the hotel caters to.

Location is very close to the Mestre train station for those who don't want the cost and hassle of staying in Venice proper. For a streamlined hotel/hostel, Meininger has excellent facilities. Rooms are functional and very clean. I brought a university group of 15 students a month ago and then returned with my partner last week for a get-away to Venice from Florence. We found it met all our needs. When I am next in Venice I will return to this hotel.

1-There is no phone in the room to connect the reception. We have to go all the way to reception to meet the staff. 2-When we asked for Iron box; they don't have one.

It was a bit strange to see a double bed in a four-bed bedroom - luckily I did not get it, but it would have been strange to share a bed with a stranger considering we are in a hostel. Beds are too firm and narrow so maybe not the best option for every body type. The breakfast could have had a better offer of fruit (not just apples) considering the high price.

Perfect location! Really close to the train station. There are so many grocery stores, restaurants and bar nearby which is very convenient. The staff were very friendly and super nice. Would definitely come back here again next time I come back to Venice!

I needed to pay extra money to keep the luggage the day I checked out. That should be included.

Great location next to the train station and near the historical area Mestre. Very friendly staff speaking many languages. Descent breakfast.

I wish there were glasses and cups along with packets of coffee, teabags and Kleenex in the room which one finds even in inexpensive hotels and motels. I know they had a guest kitchen on the ground floor but I found it inconvenient to go there every time I needed a glass or a cup.

It’s very clean, comfortable and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast had a lot of choices. I only wish the scrambled eggs were warm. There was never any orange juice because they seemed to run out of it all the time.

Baggage storage cost 6€ per each bag, for a big group too expensive. It would be great if they have lockers. Parking garage is 20€ a day
