Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesIt is beautiful! The setting, every detail in the rooms, the garden. Domenica and Nicola are wonderful and extra helpful making sure everything is easy and relaxing. The breakfast is amazing. If I could next time in Puglia I will only stay at LoJazzo and take day trips from there. By FAR the best place I stayed in while in Puglia for 12 days!

Why can’t we rate a 11 on 10 on Booking 😀 This location is literally heaven on earth in all its aspects. If you look for a silent, quietful B&B that is fully integrated in a magnificent nature, then that is the place to be. Both hosts are very hospatile and provide you an excellent breakfast with local products. We slept in a trullo, the traditional old houses of the region. We can continue with info/arguments why you definitely should stay here

United StatesIt was great experience staying in the Trullo room but I wish I had known it did not have a door on the bathroom. This might matter to some people and some not. I did not realize the bed was in a loft and we had to climb a ladder to reach it. From pictures I saw online, it looked as though the beds were on the ground. Also, the hosts do not live on the property, which was fine for us but might be a consideration for others.
Domenica and Nicola were excellent hosts at this large, beautiful property! It is located in the countryside surrounded by olive tree orchards but only a 10 minute drive to Ceglie Messapica for restaurants and shops. Other popular towns for sightseeing were only 30-60 minutes away. (We received information about surrounding towns and restaurants when we arrived.) The Trullo room was nicely decorated and clean. From our patio we could see the grounds which had many lovely plants, huge trees and fun pieces of artwork in various places. They have definitely included many special touches with their renovations inside and out. Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. We were served a large plate with local foods (fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries) plus additional side dishes. All delicious! During breakfast we talked to Domenica about the history of the property and he also gave us suggestions as to where to go in the area and then towns to see after we left and continued our journey. It would be great to come back and just spend time relaxing at the Masseria!

This family run Masseria is one of the hidden gems in Puglia. We based our selves in this lovely place for 5 days and visited all the main interest areas. Room was very clean and comfortable. Garden was very relaxing and family who run the hotel was very helpful and kind.

Masseria LoJazzo was the perfect setting for our honeymoon - it was truly magical and at times we felt like Alice in Wonderland. We loved staying in the cozy trulli and discovering the hidden artistic gems in the garden added an extra layer of wonder to our stay. Nicola and Domenica's warm welcome, complete with a sweet love poem, added a personal and heartfelt touch. Their thoughtful recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants made our stay even more memorable. We absolutely loved our time there and would wholeheartedly recommend this captivating retreat. Without a doubt, we'd return to Masseria LoJazzo in a heartbeat! ❤️

PolandI think that even a small refrigerator in the climate of the Italian south is a necessity.
LoJazzo is a unique facility with a unique "genius loci". The hosts are exceptional people, their care, high culture, and the atmosphere of friendship they create are extraordinary. Staying in Trullo is a great joy and "adventure". The entire estate is beautiful and some places are magical (the reflection tree).

RomaniaWe loved everything, can't wait to be back!
This is an amazing masseria in the middle of nature — we loved every second spent here. The suite is amazing, splendid design and lovely artistic touches here and there. We particularly loved how almost every object on the property is upcycled from old wood, iron, textile and other recovered materials. It's a feast for the eyes and extremely relaxing to be here. Special thanks to our hosts, they are lovely people.

ItalyWe stayed here for two nights and it was Amazing ! It was the most beautiful stay in the entire trip to Puglia. You arrive there in the middle of nowhere surrounded by olive trees, cactus and fruit trees Then you see all the trulli and the main masseria in the middle and it’s stunning !! All the property is packed with creative details and we loved that ! We choose masseria loJazzo for this thing in particular because we wanted to stay in a creative space for a couple of nights and we took a lot from this place :) The breakfast is delicious and fresh like the typical Italian breakfast with amazing cappuccino The owners are so sweet and available for anything We loved stay there and we will definitely come back if we come back in that area .

AustraliaBeautiful location in a wonderful old Trullo in the courtyard of an old farm house in the Apulian countryside. So quiet and peaceful. Dominica and Nicola were fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were just magnificent - a fabulous mix of local produce. Dominica was great fun to chat with over breakfast and Nicola was so interesting to hear him discuss his art and the history of the place. It was a truly wonderful experience (no pun intended).
