The location was great, a few minutes drive from town. A large housing unit with a balcony and kitchen, a pleasant pool and most importantly an outstanding hospitality experience with people who give you the feeling that you are part of the family. They helped us with recommendations in the area, parking in the city and even reserving places in the restaurant. A unique hospitality experience in a stunning place, highly recommend!

Nothing. We knew there was no air-conditioning in the apartment, and we managed with a fan. It was hot in Italy!

Maria and her husband were absolutely great and even baked a cake for our daughter with milk and egg allergies, plus had gluten free options for breakfast. We received advice for travelling in the area. Very tentative hosts, all facilities for your own cooking were there and a great swimming pool. My daughter adores their lovely dog! Large apartment with shower and bath!

Liked everything.

Family owned house is nestled in wine vineyards and olive trees which is beautiful. One can relax at the pool. Hosts are wonderful people. Amenities include free Wifi, grand breakfast - minimal cost, free spacious parking on grounds by house, rooms are updated and comfortable. We will stay there again!

Everything was great! There was nothing we didn’t like.

Hosts are very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Property has a beautiful pool, free parking, clean and decorative rooms, and the hosts serve a wonderful breakfast. Also, they have their own wine vineyards, making white and red wines for sale. It is close to Pitigliano and other villages and sites, including Saturnia Hot Springs.

Hosts, breakfast, setting, had a bathtub (could use safety grab bar), quiet, comfortable room with balcony. Not there in swimming pool season but would be a good choice in the summer, beautiful property. Hostess speaks good English and very enthusiastic. Fairly short drive up to Pitigliano

Everything was alright.

Not far from the accommodation are thermal baths, Etruscan towns almost without tourists - Sovana, Sorana, Pitigliano, in 40 minutes you are at the sea (Ortobello). Absolute calm in the evening. You can cool off in the pool during the day :).

Lovely location surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. We especially enjoyed the white wine made by the estate for sale there. It is just around the corner from Pitigliano and very quiet. We appreciated the pool after a day of hiking the via cave and exploring the nearby charming towns of Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana. The owner graciously gave us an apartment with a full kitchen and found a fan for us. This seems an odd thing to note but it had the best pillows in our two weeks in Italy -- something small but it makes it easier to sleep!

We had wonderful few days there. Very quit and peaceful place, surrounded by the nature. Just a few minutes driving from Pitigliano and also easy to go to other old cities. Maria is a very kind and helpful hostess, we also had an upgrade to an appartment with balcony and with very nice view! Good breakfast, easy parking and a nice swimming pool.

My stay at the Country House Maremma nel Tufo was incredible! Maria Elena and Gabriele were so warm and welcoming in all that they did from my initial check-in to their lovely homemade breakfast cakes/pastries. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and filled with charm, and the location, in the countryside just outside of beautiful Pitigliano, provided the perfect mix of relaxation, history, and culture—not to mention amazing food. This was a solo vacation for me, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. There is so much left in the area that I have yet to explore, and I can't wait to go back!

The staff were so friendly and attentive. Maria is so kind and thorough. She speaks English and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was very clean and calm. Sitting out by the pool was lovely. This space was about 30 minutes from the Saturnia hot springs.

A lovely place near Pitigliano. We had a wonderful room with balcony, and a warm reception from our lovely hostess. Excellent location for Pitigliano and surrounding villages. Good breakfast, easy parking, and their wine was a bonus.
