They have some weird scheduling going on. You try to get a table for lunch and the totally empty restaurant is "full". As the day goes by you see the restaurant is never full, but you cannot seem to get a table anyway. Pool closes in the afternoon as to not disturb the guests from the restaurant on the other side with noise. Beach chairs on the front rows are always empty but nevertheless "reserved". It felt like we were kind of second class guests from the hotel, as if there was something else in place and we had no access to it.

The hotel is a small resort right in front of a very nice beach. The restaurants and beach bar were really good (maybe a bit pricey, but not that bad). Amazing breakfast, very good small outdoor pool, confortable and large rooms. All in all, can´t complain about the hotel´s structure.

You need a car to get to restaurants in the area. The hotel is situated in the outskirts but felt safe. In our case the beach was closed for hygienic reasons during our stay, which the hotel did not inform about in advance, though this was out of their hands and know a day or two prior to our arrival. Luckily we came by car and were able to reach other bays by 15minutes drive, but had to pay significantly for beach access which the hotel did not want to compensate for

Beach restaurant was quite expensive but worked well.

The hotel exceeded our exceptations. We are family of 5 (kids 10,13,14) and they loved the pool and beach. Room was very comfy and clean. Location is bit far from Savona center (ca 3km), but we had a car and that was not a problem. Breakfast was very tasty and included lot of to choice. Warmly recommend this place specially for families😊

The hotel has nice facilities (cabins to change, beach bar, sun beds) available on the beach. It offers a good breakfast. The sushi restaurant is exceptional. Very nice pool.

The noise like a genorator from a storeroom next door which never stopped. We mentioned it to reception a few times but nothing was done. It really spoiled our stay. We couldn’t understand how they could be unaware of it as previous guests must have mentioned it. We slept with the balcony door open to mask the noise. (Taxi to town €20)

Beautiful hotel right on the beach in Savona. We spend only 1 night here waiting to board our Costa Firenze cruise. Room was great and very clean, breakfast was full of variety and delicious, lounge bar with beautiful view towards the sea, they have a sushi restaurant and parking. All was great, thank you!

Decor in the room was a little dated but perfectly adequate.

Sraff extremely helpful and friendly. Was extremely clean. Lovely comfortable bed and crisp clean sheets and pillows. Very nice modern bathroom. Great breakfast - lovely buffet. Great accessible location from the autostrada from Torino. We visited in Dec and ample parking was available. My husband had a late dinner on our arrival and was very impressed with food quality and price. All in all, this was a great value stay and I would highly recommend Hotel Mare.

All was good.

The room was decent size and all fittings and furniture good quality. The location of the hotel on its own private beach was great, with sun loungers and towels for guests. The facilities at the hotel with pool and lovely seating areas overlooking the pool and sea were lovely. The food at the restaurant was very good but quite expensive. Having breakfast outside overlooking the sea was brilliant.

If the room faces the roadside, it might be a bit noisy if the windows are open. The shower cabin needs cleaning and sealing (the water leaks).

The unusual design of rooms with blue lighting, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast with a variety of all sorts of pastries (croissants, cookies, pies with cream and chocolate, etc.) on the summer terrace with a sea view (in fact on the beach). In the evening you can visit a sushi bar (fresh and tasty). Beach with chaise lounges. A small beautiful swimming pool. Polite and friendly staff. Parking in front of the hotel (several spots) and a big parking at the hotel side. The bus stop just in front of the hotel (you can go to the city center).

More choices of food would have been appreciated - there was woefully little choices for people with food intolerances or who are vegetarian/vegan either at breakfast or in the dining restaurants. The homemade bread made by the gourmet restaurant was apparently delicious, but I couldn't try any of it as I'm gluten intolerant, which stings a bit when you are paying 50 Euros a head for one course and a glass of wine each!

The room was superb - the only fault we could find was there wasn't a hook for gowns near the spa tub. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel complex was brilliant and nicely designed so it was like a little oasis.

We arrived on a Sunday and the parking was full. It would be nice if they reserve a few places for arriving guests. And they need a 2nd coffee machine for breakfast😜

It was a very pleasant hotel to stay a few days on a sandy beach in Ligure. Staff is very friendly and there are 3 really good restaurants including great sushi. Breakfast is good.The sunbeds are a little bit dated, but that's okay. The bus to Savona stops in front of the hotel. You pay for extra parking if you park in the garage

The confusion and lack of clarity about what was available and where was tricky. There should have been signs to inform guests and menus so we could make an informed choice on where to eat.

Breakfast was superb with excellent choice of cooked items as well as fruit and many sweet choices, very good coffee.
