The shower was in need of a deep cleaning, it looked like no one had touched the bottom part of it in months and months - moldy and discolored. There was some water damage on the floor just outside the bathroom, so some of the thin flooring was bursting at the seams, it felt awkward and uncomfortable to walk over. The room could use some more decor on the walls - it was quite bare. It would have been nice to have some tea service in the room, i.e., a kettle, teabags, sugar, etc..

The staff was amazing!! Friendly, helpful, took time with us to chat and assist us in getting a rental car, gave us water, talked and played with our kids, etc. The owner gave us a lovely discount on some much-needed massages at the spa for me and my husband, and those went very well. Our dog was comfortable and welcomed. The breakfast was very nice, and we were kindly comped on it. Located in a nice, leafy neighborhood just a few steps from Prato della Valle, which was really quite nice. The streetcar is just a few blocks away as well, and it's a short bus or streetcar ride to the train station. The family-sized room was the biggest we'd ever been in, with three full beds. Nice big Smart TV, so we could play our kids favorite videos or play our music in the room. It's the people that are the heart of this place, though. Bravissimi, grazie a tutti!

The hotel seemed to be a stopover for school groups as on most evenings we had groups of noisy teenagers hanging about in the corridor, running up and down the stairs and playing reggaeton loudly from their phone speakers so we could hear it through the room walls. This went on until 1am and started again at 6am and happened on more than one night - we complained to the staff about this after two days and they kindly gave us an apology beer. The room, while clean and functional, did look like it was designed by aliens who had never seen a hotel room. It had a weird layout with a desk at the head of the beds and was fairly stark.

The hotel was fantastically well-located, right in the centre of town for easy access to town amenities and tourist attractions. The facilities were clean and functional and the staff were friendly and approachable. The breakfast was good value and had a wide range of foods on offer. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning unit was a blessing!

I was going to stay an extra night to further enjoy Padova before moving on to Verona. When I went to the reception in the morning, a male receptionist was working at the time, said I can stay an extra night but not in the same room and I'd have to pack my bags, store them in baggage area and come back after 3 for the new room. I went back to my room, packed, made reservation for hotel in Verona and left (letting him know I didn't need the room for extra night - even saying good-bye to him on way out). In Verona, same night, around 10 PM I get call from M14 Hotel, a woman asking when I'd arrive. Obviously, the guy receptionist never deleted my saying I DO NOT need the room. It is a shame that my memory of M14 Hotel Padova will be not as good because of this employee.

When I arrived, the woman who checked me in was super friendly and helpful. She gave me pointers on where things were on the map and even told me other things of interest that weren't in tourist books. She made me feel very welcome.

Reception too slow in check in process. 3 people at the desk and serving all together only one customer per time. Cleaning lady entered the room of my day of checkout, at 9am. Couldn’t they wait for me to checkout rather than bothering the guest? At night the doors were locked and couldn’t enter the premises since apparently they forgot to give me a card or to leave the door unlocked - or both. Fortunately they picked up the phone and was let in at some point

The bed, was two twin beds closed together. The mattress was old and thin, I could feel the springs.

There was no wifi password available in the room and the number of the reception was missing. It was written that there was Netflix available and I found out that it is but only by your peronal account.

Very good location, spacious bathroom and shower, very comfortable bed and with balcony. The screen is also good and the positioning of everything was good.

The room was rather small and the bathroom was tiny. The cleanliness of the room should improve, as the floor was not clean and the bathroom wasn't perfect as well. It was good enough for one night for this price and that's it.

The location is excellent, close to main square, right in the city centre, with lots of good restaurants and caffees. The AC was running perfectly, balcony faced really nice park, staff was friendly and check-in was very quick. Bed was comfy.
