Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomSlightly noisy you can hear other people on your floor, we were the floor above the breakfast room but we could hear dishes etc being used on a morning but I am a very light sleeper so some ear plugs would have probably prevented me from hearing anything!
Breakfast was good. Tv in the room was great with Netflix etc. The location was great so close to the train station and all attractions. We had a problem with our toilet but it was fixed really quickly!

IndonesiaThe shower hose was leaky, which made it hard to shower, however we were there for only one night so we didn't bother to report it. The window look at the backyard so we didn't really had any view, but hey, it was really quiet to sleep there. I do remember being a bit cold but after I turned on air conditioning it warmed really quickly.
The hotel is rather nice, room is big enough, fully renovated and clean. Bathroom was pretty and big, light were on the right places, breakfast was fresh and good. Overall a pleasant experience with a great location.

We enjoyed our experience at the Lombardia. We don’t really have any complaints except there was no elevator being senior citizens that was an issue. Our room was on the second floor, so going up and down the steps was difficult for me. The staff was great though they took our luggage up and offered to bring it down, although we left for dinner and didn’t get back in time for them to bring it down but all in all we were satisfied with our stay there, the breakfast was great. I was grateful to see eggs being an American that was some thing I was glad to see this girl servicing. The breakfast was exceptional. Everyone was really great if and when we plan another visit to Florence, this hotel will definitely be on our list especially if you figure out how to get us from downstairs to upstairs or maybe even booked on the first floor would be better. AlbaniaOn our 1st day when we received the room wasn't well cleaned. i even found fur (ping pong size ball) on the corner of the room. That is unpleasant especially on the 1st impact with the room. Another problem was the heat of the room wasn't proportional with the temperature of January. Saverio again tried to help us with extra blank and talked to the manager to increase the heat but still not enough for the entire room.
Great Location, very close to the central station and to the city center. One of the reception guys named Saverio was very polite and supportive. He helped us a lot with our demands and sometimes not related to the Hotel. Usually, he worked on the 2nd shift.

ChileThere's not good noise isolation and you might hear the noise from the kitchen from 7.30AM onwards.
Very friendly staff. They got in touch with me through whatsapp prior to our arrival to have everything ready. We stayed with 2 pets and we didn't have any trouble with them. The location is really convinient when traveling by train. Breakfast was also really good. We could store our luggage before checking and after checkout and also checkout a bit later.
