We loved the location, the staff and the value for money. Breakfast was also good and it was nice to come back to an air conditioning room after a long day in Venice.

The toilet water would continue to run if you did not do a double tap afterwards. The shower drain did not drain well. The paint over, and around, one of the beds was quite dirty.

The breakfast was great; very attentive and happy staff. The location was perfect for us! Only a 4 minute walk to San Marco square. The hotel was welcoming and clean. Free water, coffee and tea was available at all times. The candy bowls were a great touch!

Room was on the 4th floor, not good for a familiar with kids and luggage. Bathroom was small.

We stayed here before and this time the room was better. Clean and breakfast was ok. Location is great and staff is very helpful.

The restrooms and bathrooms are shared, and even though they are very clean, it may take some time to get used to. The breakfast is good, but it would be even better if there were more options for solid food besides snacks. Overall, I think it's completely reasonable considering the price.

The hotel is nice, with a great location. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and polite. The rooms have good facilities considering the price, including a sink in the room, which is convenient since other facilities are shared. The place has a vintage feel, which I found aesthetically pleasing and even somewhat romantic. There's a beautiful terrace on the top floor as well.

We had a room with 3 single beds, which were all very narrow. There were a good few ants roaming around.

Doors are from paper ! But to be honest you only sleep there so no big problem!

A full length mirror would be handy

Once we found the hotel and got our bearings it was very handy for piazza S. Marco. I thought i had read it was near Rialto but definitely closer to S. Marco. Breakfast choices were excellent and it was very clean. Sandra the owner was really helpful and gave us great directions for all our excursions. Sorry to leave, Venice is definitely my happy place!!!

Rooms are small, air conditioning wasn’t working properly. This was the 2nd time I stayed in this place and the air conditioning wasn’t working properly either on my 1st visit.

The place could do with a fresh coat of paint.

The location is great once you know how to get there. I have attached the map that they give you at the hotel. It was my first time in Venice, and it took me about an hour to find it (without GPS), as some streets are really just walkways, and once you take a wrong turn, you are lost. No elevator and 3 floors. My room didn't have a private bathroom, so I had to use the public ones, which were always clean and available. The view was great, but because it's close to the busy square and canal you can expect noise from 7am to 11pm. Breakfast was sufficient for my needs (yogurt, juice, sandwiches, cereal, sweets, coffee, fruit). I will stay here again.

Bathroom was very small, and enclosed felt a bit like a train toilet but did the job.

Great location near to the main square. Room was nice, decor a bit outdated but lovely window view of the canal! AC was excellent very effective. Staff couldn’t have been nicer, especially the lady who served us at breakfast time who made sure we were happy with our food and kept bringing us more! She was the highlight of the hotel ! Felt very safe here, nice and quiet as well during the nights. Overall we had a great stay at Locanda.

Although I had the last room, it was a bit noicy one day.

I was astonished to find the clean comfortable room with amazing new. The toilet was in 3-4 metres. The shower in 12. The breakfast was nice for money. The location is superb, I stayed at 3 floor and felt myself as midcentury princess.
