I didn't like that there was a refrigerator that didn't work and smelled bad, one of us is diabetic and had 2 nights without putting insulin in the fridge and the internet in the room with the pass didn't connect to the internet. I always got it wrong.

I liked the bed, big and comfortable, and I also liked the decor and being close to the train station

Our much smaller room was dominated by hanging lanterns presumably to make the very high ceiling appear cosy. My bedside light fused while switching it on. The bathroom needing agility to avoid bruising oneself against the shower cube on entering and leaving so unsuited to older people

The initial impression of the foyer was dark, dramatic and reminded us of immersive theatre. It was unclear which room was ours and we entered one with the key hanging from it and it was that featured in the advert and which secured our booking. We learnt by calling the provided number this was not our room and had we seen our allocated room on line we would not have purchased it.

Hubby couldn't get in the shower.im not more than a size 12 and I struggled.huge tank above head when on the toilet.if tall would be a problem.space in bathroom very very compact. Self check in little bit confusing but managed Nowhere to put bags had to drag them about few hours till able to check in. None of the plug sockets took our adapters.had to charge in main lounge.

Very quirky.liked it was different to the norm. Very easy to reach train station and walking distance if main streets. Lovely little roof top terrace to sit out on which we enjoyed. Coffee machine and pods could help yourself.

The pictures are not true to what it actually looks like. It’s 50-50. The shower is completely clogged so we had to turn the shower on and then off and then on and then off so we didn’t flood the bathroom. However it did the job for staying the night!

Unfortunately there was almost no check-in instructions, no communication at all, the contact number given didn’t work, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, there was no breakfast and the shower has almost no toiletries.

The room felt really sumptuous and beautifully decorated, the bed was really comfortable, the house was very warm and had soft lighting, and a nice smell. It was a comforting place to arrive on a cold night. We loved the design of the room, lots of light in the morning, and fun location. We had a great time and rested well, for us it was a nice experience though a few essential things lacking.

The shower curtain could do with replacing as there were signs of mould. The main communal guest area was really dark all the time and the instructions to get to the apartment were not clear, there is no one manning the apartment day or night. Would be nice to have usb chargers in the room but was fine without. The location, although ideal for the central station felt a little less safe on an evening than on Via dell'indipendenza which is only 200 metre away.

The room itself was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the ensuite was clean. The location is really close to the train station so ideal when you're getting the train from the airport and around 15 mins walk to piazza maggiore.

Bathroom configuration was a little odd. We never saw a member of staff but they communicated via message effectively.

Previous reviews of this place made me think that it was going to be falling apart. It’s not. Yes - some of the furniture has seen better days but it added to the feel of the place. Very close to station.

Les Chambres is on 2nd floor with no lift/elevator so that should be advertised. It would be beneficial to be able to use the lift that is there. The key to the room was tricky so instructions might help. I would have liked a glass for water. No breakfast or coffee was available although that was advertised.

When I entered my room I was amazed. It was like an Arabian dream and the large bed was raised like a flying carpet! Les Chambres was a short walk from stazione centrale and very easy to find. You need to phone to gain entry rather than ring the doorbell at the street door. I was able to leave my luggage when I arrived and then again before I departed Bologna. The owner answered the quickly answered the phone each time I called her.

There is no breakfast because of COVID limitations. However, there is a reasonable bar just outside the building. The location of electric sockets and switches is somewhat maddening.

The Owner was extremely kind to wait for my arrival well beyond midnight and was able to guide me remotely to enter the building, the property and then my room and to operate everything very efficiently. The rooms have a very personal touch and and are fascinating in their decor. This does not necessarily mean that this most functional setting but it is suffiently workable for a short stay.

evwrything is old and screetches, the electrical wiring is improvised, no breakfast included, the bathtub is old and yellow (not the original color), the walls are thin and tou can hear everything… it’s basically a highend trucker motel but a trucker motel nontheless.

No matter how low your expectations are, you will be thorougly dissapointed. The photos do not show the miserable reality even close. No one around - contact is only via Whattsapp available. Entry system is not properly working. The interior is shabby - but not like shabby chic, only completley shabby. Doors locks can be picked with a hairpin. Would not recommand to leave anything valuable at the rooms. The bathroom can only be handled by fairy-sized persons. Normal people suffer from claustrophobia. It is called bed and breakfast. But there is no breakfast, only a coffee machine that I would not event touch with golves. First night I stayed in a room with a broken bed, second night they moved my luggage to a room with access to the balcony. But everyone else can enter this balcony from the "lounge" So either you keep your windows shut all night, or everyone is invited to pay you a visit to your room. Obviously this is a flat in an old building that had been converted to five (incredible tiny) guestrooms. Probably some decades ago. They should not be allowed to rent this hovel out to unexpecting tourists.

Nothing. I booked for four nights, but left after two. I preferred to loose the payment to staying any longer. The only positive thing positive is the convenient locaction close to the central station. But there are several other hotels also close to the station. So you are better off somewhere else.

There was a broken key stuck in the frontdoor so we had to use the code to enter. Also getting out downstairs you could only do with the key, we could not figure out hiw to leave without a key.

We were way too early for checkin but they were very flexible, that was very nice. It looked super romantic and the bed was very comfy. A taxi was arranged for in the middle of the night, because of a very early flight, so greatful.

First of all, the mattress and pillows are the most uncomfortable things we have ever seen in our lives. The bed squeaks so much you can't even imagine how much. We didn't feel safe because different people were using drugs in front of the hotel. There was a paper with a password for WiFi. When we arrived at the hotel, they told us to call or text them to find out the hotel room number. However, they did not return the message and the WiFi number was wrong, they did not update their old information. My operator wanted extra charges for calls from abroad, so I had to call them to reach them. I chose it because the price was cheaper than other places, but I would never choose it again, I would pay a little more money and stay in a better place, I would both sleep comfortably and feel safe.

Not a good experience. There were several steep flights of stairs up, but the lift was not working. As advised to the owner, we arrived late evening (10.30) and although we were asked to phone on arrival, we got an ‘unavailable’ recorded message each time we called. The place was creepily dark with only ‘fairy lights’ in the communal lounge. Although there was a kettle and some cups in our room, it was not working; indeed, almost none of the power points seemed to work. Every surface in our room was cluttered with the owner’s collectibles which made it difficult to put anything down anywhere. Impossible to unpack. We ventured into the communal lounge which appeared to have a coffee machine but there were no instructions for use, and we gave up. The shower screen was damaged with rubber seals hanging down. No packets of shampoo in the bathroom, only conditioner. Although marketed as bed and breakfast, no breakfast was provided. We seriously considered trying to find a hotel but as it was late gritted our teeth and went to bed. Overpriced; to be avoided.

Was a very nicely furnished room with its own bathroom, part of a larger flat, which also boasted a living room area with a coffee machine and a wonderful large terrace, overlooking the inner side of the building. A really enjoyed sitting there sipping my coffee and relaxing a bit. A great bonus to the appartment!

It must be my first and last time!, Everything is old and broken, not as beautiful as in the picture, the bathroom smells bad and has clogged water all the time, there's a lot of dust in the room!, what I saw was probably clean. Towels and bedsheets, I stayed here for ten days, on the fifth day I lost one shirt, I don't know how it disappeared, because the door has three floors, it should be safer! ?,

This is not a serviced room. There is no one to speak to when you arrive in the location and you are left to fend for yourself. You'll need to give them a call (international call in my case). The Wifi in the apartment didn't work, the TV didn't work, the apartment was dark, the shower cubicle was minute. I wanted my money back as I booked 3 nights, unfortunately. I was offered to change to another room on the 2nd day and this helped a little as the shower cubicle was a bit bigger so we manage to shower. When we left, after 3 days, there was no Wifi yet.

The main concern was the bathroom use, which we called the Electrocution Shower; nobody died during our stay, but it was not safe at all. Please see the attached pictures.

The flat was clean in general and the host was supportive. The location is very close to the main railway station and 20 minutes walk from the city centre.
