Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The price was lower than other similar properties. There is a bus stop right by the hotel and it's located only 3 stops away from the old town. There is also a big supermarket very near.

SwitzerlandI missed a shower curtain or shield in the bathroom. Also with the room price, I would expect to have at least a water boiler and some tea/coffee at my disposal in the room. We were a bit disappointed to find out that the jacuzzi and wellness area which are otherwise very advertised are only available at additional cost (i.e. 90 euros/2h). This should be made more explicit on their bookings.com site.
The room and bathroom were big and comfortable. Breakfast included a nice selection of Italian pastries. The hotel was quiet.

ThailandThe bar most of the times did not have staff so to order a few drinks took some time. Some staff gave very small drinks while other gave larger drinks. (No standard) We had dinner at the hotel and an older polite gentleman was doing all the tables alone. He seemed a little stressed. It took time to be served, but I could see it was not his fault at all. More staff should be in the restaurant at dinner time not just one. (I am sure there must have been a good reason for it but after all we (all the others in the restaurant) were guests too! The food was just OK.
Friendly and keen to help staff at front desk. Room was very big and very nice. We missed a piece of furniture like a wardrobe or cabinet to make it more home like and to fill the big room. Good beds (we slept very well) and a good breakfast. We had two good nights here and will come back.

GermanyFurniture is older and used, but it is still usable. No curtain at the window which could be a problem in summer. All in all this seems to be a building that heats up a lot in summer. The corridor was quite warm and sticky even in April. There are air conditionings in the rooms but I would not recommend this hotel in the hot summer time.

United KingdomIt is about 30 Minutes walk from the city centre. We recommend getting a lime to ride your way there if you don’t want to walk that much.
The hotel is very nice. It has parking on site which is very convenient. It has spa facilities, which is a plus. Rooms are spacious and breakfast very good.
