HungaryNot so easy access to the nearest village, most of the staff is not so nice, the ‘complemantary shuttle’ is free only daytime, and you have to book in advance but if your dinner is longer than your spot… that is not what you want to deal with on your vacation. Prior we book one of the hotel restaurant on the terrace, they put us on the normal part of the restaurant, even the booking eas days before. After several arguments they move us to the terrace. This is again something you dont want to deak during your vacation. Outdated feeling everywhere at the resort. It is far far away from 9+ review. There are ao many nice place aroun Garda, check other places. For example Eala.

RussiaVery low price to quality ratio. Standard room price was 800 EUR/night. 1. Transfer service was awful. Hotel is on the mountain, so the only way to get to the nearest city Gargnano is by hotel's car. There are literally no taxis in Gargnano. The hotel would provide complimentary transfers only before 6 pm, in the evening they would charge you 40 EUR per 15 minute trip one way. But the main problem is that sometimes transfer may just be unavailable, unless you book it a day before. I had a situation when they took us down and then told us that the car was not available and we had to wait in Gargnano for another 2 hours. 2. Bad overpriced food in all hotel's restaurants. Luckily there are couple of local restaurants within walking distance. 3. I had a dental problem during my trip, so I asked for an antiseptik in the hotel, they said they didn't have it. Once again, please mind item 1 that you are basically trapped on the premises unless you have your own car. 4. I had smell in a room (room number 308) as if someone was smoking vapes there for ages. Overall, I would not choose this hotel the second time regardless the budget I possess.
Beautiful views on Garda lake from the top just like on the pictures, gym was not bad as well and a nice walking path around hotel

United StatesThe AC in our 2 bedroom suite was not working well. They have some dehumidifier type system rather than AC but it could not cool the room both days we were there. The rest of the room was great. Also be prepared for a 10 min drive up a mountain on an intense winding road to get to the hotel. It’s a little nauseating. Not very kid friendly in the sense that dinner time options for a small child are limited until 7pm

LatviaI should start with the fact that getting to the hotel by navigation is quite challenging. Even though I contacted hotel several times, no guidance was given. Furthermore hotel staff requested us to be on time, as they wouldn’t accept my husband’s credit card since reservation was in my name. They demanded private information regarding banking details to be sent by email, which I refused. Upon arrival we were greeted absolutely arrogantly, almost haughty. This attitude continued throughout the whole stay, regardless of the fact that we had one of the highest caliber rooms. Cherry on top was our visit to a Michelin star restaurant, for which we used hotel’s taxi service. Hotel staff made us sign legal papers that I pledge to pay for the taxi. Excuse me, but never in my life have I been in such situation, especially in the 5 star hotel. As our dinner was finished the hotel’s taxi was the most rude and arrogant driver in my life. We ordered car for 23:00. I approached the car at 22:55 and asked if he could wait for us to say our goodbyes to friends. The driver obnoxiously showed his palm and almost yelled “5 minutes and I leave!”. It is incredibly unfortunate that our long awaited holiday to lake Garda was upset by such an unfriendly personal. Being a restaurant owner, I understand that in hospitality industry, attitude is the key. Truly hope that the management will look into this and fix otherwise a greatly located hotel.

ItalyGreat view with a no style room & facilities ! Give me the name of the Interior Decorator who decorated this facility ! You don't really know what kind of vision he or she had while decorating and arranging public spaces as well as the bedrooms, spa, restaurants and all rooms around the Hotel grounds. You are in Italy on Lake Garda, but you feel a bit sorry for all the Italy quality of life & style totally missing in this resort. Ask also the architect, why do you have to go through the SPA area & desk, to go to your bedroom ?
Great service and staff that can not off write the lack of style & class in this Resort. Never seen a 5 stars luxury Hotel & Spa decorated with such bad taste, and cheap furniture, objects, lighting, etc... in the general public spaces as well as in the Bedrooms and SPA.

United KingdomThe interior design is very poor for an hotel of this standard. Also the staff is a bit slow sometimes. Restaurants (both of them) are way too expensive for the quality of the food (if we come back we will not dine there). Also the staff was coming often in the bedroom even though we did not put the indication to come and do the room - someone from the cleaning crew made my watch fall several times which was a bad surprise.
The outside space will make us come back. The view is breathtaking and the facilities outside a real delight. The staff kindly recommended a lot of restaurants around the property and we had a great experience.
