You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

ItalyThe bed of the room we were in (Room3) was too low and uncomfortable, for that we did not sleep so good. Also the TV in the room was pretty old and not supporting Internet APPs.
The location is perfect, right by the sea in the only place you can go swim before Cefalu'. The green yard and plants, how it is organized outside, the parking lot, the building. All really nice! And the ladies at Brekfast were really nice and welcoming. Check-In also was easy

SlovakiaVery nice environment of the hotel, you can quickly get anywhere from there. The beach was clean pebbly, but we had a beach bar and an umbrella with sunbeds at our disposal. Breakfast was simple in terms of choice, but tasty. The restaurant in the hotel area was excellent. Long opening hours with great food and nice staff.

United KingdomShower wasn’t great, excess water was all over the floor and the water temperature was a rollercoaster. Also the breakfast, although I’m aware that Sicilians like their breakfast sweet, I.e. pastries and cakes, it would be good to have at least some boiled eggs as an option. There was bread and various salame, but we don’t eat meat so that wasn’t ideal.

FranceBooking included shuttle service from and to Lascari station. When asked about it the owner first said the car broke then when we were almost there he said that he'll send someone to pick us up.(!?!) We walked 35 min on 40°C with our backpacks to get there. Photos of the property don't reflect 100% real state and restaurant charges you €1.5 for the service (😕 appearently it's a common thing in Italy but we still found it a bit shocking) I felt like the room we got wasn't the one shown in photos when I did the reservation
Cleaning was really good and discreet, staff and food lovely (Rosi is such a beautiful soul and made our stay so much more comfortable thank you). Garden and restaurant are pretty especially during the night. Close to the beach.

GermanyWe stayed one night. On that particular night, they had a wedding party with more than 100 guests in the garden of the property. This was not communicated to us in advance. We could not sleep until the early morning. What made the situation worse was that the A/C was not properly controllable with the remote they provide (its a cheap remote that in theory allows to control 100 different A/Cs, but it would not change the fan speed or direction). So in our room we could either freeze or slightly suffocate. Definitely our worst experience in the last 5 years of travelling. We asked for a refund, but the property decide to not communicate with us directly and told booking that there is nothing they want to do.
Nice location close to the sea. Easy parking. Simple self check-in.

NetherlandsBreakfast was only a hour a day. Not very much choice, and no refilling. So tou better be at the start of breakfast time (only at 08:30) there. The beach around the property was a stone beach, not very pleasant which made us go to Cefalu for that. Lots of messages, too much, the day of arrival to tell when we would arrive. The restaurant that is on the plot, nobody speaks any more English then please and thank you. Quality is decent at best.
Rooms looked recently renovated, good big spacious bathroom with shower and seperate bath. We really liked the matrasses on it, and the owner is a nice women.
