The staff were the sweetest and most welcoming people. I was super nervous to solo travel and they made it so much easier. Views are gorgeous too.

Not much of lockers (see picture) which resulted in a very untidy room with things everywhere. Small toilet/shower in the room but there where also toilettes outside in the corridor (=good). VERY noisy, a bar is open and plays loud music!

Would be nice if they would have had a guest kitchen bec if you stay for many days atleast I dont like to eat pasta/ pizza/ burgers everyday

The cleanliness and functionality of the bathroom was lacking. We had a family room with a private bathroom, but it was not super clean, there was mold on the ceiling and the shower head barely worked. Also, our window had a missing/broken Rollladen and the balcony doors did not close properly. We knew that being a hostel it would not be a luxurious accommodation, but we didn’t expect not being able to shower properly. I didn’t even attempt to wash my hair…there’s no way the shampoo would have rinsed out.

We loved the location, the view, the restaurant and the staff/service. Beds were comfy, sheets were clean and we felt safe having our kids (8, 10 & 11) there.

Bed wasn't comfortable, small room, after all we expected to be like that. A Big problem is with the noise. You hear all the noise from restaurant and can't sleep till 12-1 AM.

We got a room with a view directly to Lake Como which was great. They have a restaurant downstairs which is a good place to eat.

Mostly unclean and cramped bathrooms.

Great location, great people and great vibes for socializing! Restaurant available at the hostel so it's always a nice option to dine with a view!

Room condition was quit very poor, smell in corridor, food in restaraunt spoilt level in comparing with autumn last year

The bed itself was very low, did not like it, but it was okay for a night.

I liked the location and the staff, great people, very welcoming, helping. The night I stayed they did all you can eat BBQ and a free concert for guests. Breakfast was tasty and cheap juice, coffee and Croissant costed 4 euros.

got a voucher for a glass of house wine, ordered it, they served me another wine ( not the house wine) and made me pay - guess this is Italy…

Very good staff, decent prices and the food was excellent. Nice views of the Lake Como from the hostel. Pretty good location in the center of the Lake and easy to move around.

Loud music late at night.

The location was great…very close to the ferry and a bus stop. The views over the lake were fantastic! The staff was very welcoming. We enjoyed chatting with other travelers and the breakfast was reasonably priced. Good cappuccino and croissant! A little noisy at night until quiet time which was a little after 11pm. We had a private room with bunk beds They were as expected, small but comfortable. Worth it for the view of the lake!!

the toilets were waaaaay too small , it's barely impossible to move inside of the restroom, barely impossible to change inside of the the room. the bathroom is super small too, you basically have to put your things on the floor while you're showering !! i hated this

the view from my room was EXQUISITE, you have the view directly on the lake the restaurant of the hostel is very nice, traditional italien dishes, and amazing tiramisu, for a decent price. they offer two tickets for welcome drinks

Bunk beds were squeaky and moves everytime either the person in the top bunk or lower bunk moves, which made it harder to fall asleep.

The location was fantastic, very close to the ferry terminal and in walking distance to the town center. Cheap food available with a drinks coupon. Beautiful view from window. Hot showers and electric plugs available. Good value for money.

The hostel room I stayed in had a publicly accessible bathroom on the floor. The room was small and lacked shelving by the bedside for phones and such. There was a sink in the room with potable water. The bathrooms - toilets and showers - were very small and hard to manoeuvre with. The hostel advertised linen and towels were provided but they were not placed on the bed. The window in the room needs a curtain as there is a sensor light that shines whenever someone uses the back door

The view of Lake Como from the hostel was incredible. And had close access to a small pebble beach. The downstairs had a busy bar and kitchen to provide breakfast lunch and dinner to locals and visitors alike. There were lots of young people staying at the hotel/hostel. Hotel rooms had lake views and the hostel rooms had nice big lockable drawers for all my stuff.

Tiolet we're a tight squueze and no individual lights in the first floor one I went to.

The staff were amazing abd such a great location with the added bonus of the restaurant. The menu and food was so good and very affordable.

Surprised there was a cover charge at the dining area for people staying at the hostel. The building was quite run down. Unfortunately couldn’t check in a bit earlier but we understood. Bathrooms are quite small, especially the showers

The bed was not very comfortable (in fact it had been put together wrong and we actually fixed it for them!). The noise from the bar was loud and went on late.

Great location within 5 minutes walk of central Menaggio and amazing view from our room over Lake Como. The bar/restaurant also had a great menu and view.
