Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIt was a fine room, but not as luxurious as the star rating or photos might suggest. We had a great stay, but mainly as we were there to explore Florence, not spend time in the room.
Fantastic location, right next the Mercato Central, in the bustling San Lorenzo district. Perfect for travellers keen to experience the lively vibe and excellent for walking to the main attractions of the historic old city. If that’s what you’re going for, this is excellent as it is near the heart of the action, close if arriving by train and relatively inexpensive.

United StatesThe description said that a breakfast would be provided at a nearby cafe (I have stayed at other places in Italy offering vouchers to a cafe, so I assumed this would be the case), but in fact, there is no breakfast provided. They should remove "B&B" from the title of this listing (and remove any mention of breakfast) in the description, as this is a bit deceptive. The price was quite expensive for not including breakfast, but good for the location. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a LOT of street noise (it sounded like a club was underneath the property, even though there only appeared to be several small restaurants; there was a LOT of loud music and singing/shouting on the weekend), so be prepared if you are a light sleeper.
The location is excellent for this property. It was very convenient, such that you could return to the room during the day, and it was close to the train station. The room had a decent size (compared to other places in Italy), and it was nice to have the kettle and small fridge. The check-in was super easy, but if you did not have a travel SIM, it would have been a bit of a problem to get the information while travelling.

The food surrounding it was very good, as well as less than 15 minute walk to all attractions such as the Cathedral, Statue of David, etc. The staff was very helpful when finding new things to do as well as very accommodating when it came to leaving our luggage after check-out to explore more.

SingaporeRoom size is very small, especially for what we paid. Among the 4 hotels we stayed during our 2 weeks trip, this is the smallest and one of the most expensive too. The toilet also is bit strange and the shower area doesn’t have any holders for your shampoo/bath soap. So you have to leave it on the basin and open the shower door to reach them. Then water will be dripping all over the dry area of the toilet. Seriously, how difficult or expensive for the hotel to install a simple holder?
Location is vey good, near the central station and short walk to Duomo. Restaurants and bars are everywhere, practically spoiled for choice!
