Everything. Nicest stay in Italy. Francesco was the perfect host. The breakfast was fresh and almost healthy. Francesco cooked eggs, crepes and pies. The Village is between Pienza and Montepulciano, so you have a good spot.

Fantastic breakfast incredible location in medieval Castle town. It was well located close to the thermal springs and nearby medieval cities. The host is incredible and very kind. Parking is available freely at the lower end before the crossroad.

Excellent! If you want authentic Italy in a small hilltop town of approximately 200 residents with gorgeous views then this is the place to stay. Francesco is wonderful host and a great chef! The breakfasts are great! This is our 4th trip to Italy and one of our best stays! The scenic views are tremendous- observed numerous painters painting the scenery.

Booking.com did not make clear how complicated it might be to get to and from the town if traveling by public transportation (impossible) which, in the end, added to our adventure.

Francesco, the host, artistically prepared and served each breakfast. He also helped us plan a walk to Montepulciano. The B&B is an old family home and staying there is like going home.

Parking is outside the walls of Monticchiello but it seems to be safe.

The location is in the heart of the town of Monticchiello. Easy to get up and walk around this town to explore the shops, restaurants and the history of the town. This B & B is well appointed and the easy access to the kitchen allows you to bring in food for when you don't want to eat out. Breakfast was very good with a selection of cut fruit, egg sandwiches and meats, along with coffee. I will stay here again when in the area

There wasn’t anything about the place we didn’t like. Just know there is a bit of a walk from the parking lot and no lift.

The town of Monticchiello is a very quaint Tuscan town. There is no parking within the walls overnight. There is parking, but know that it is uphill all the way to La Casa di Adelina. Also, there is no lift, so it is up about 3 small flights of stairs. The lodging is beautiful. There is a common area that is quite large and cozy. My sisters, my husband and I were the only people staying there. The rooms were good size, the bathrooms as well. Showers were European size (a tad tight) but good water pressure and towels! Breakfast was great! Fresh fruit, good size lattes, eggs on toast, assorted breads. We all enjoyed our stay. Francesco was very good at communicating and his wife was really great when she greeted us and got us settled. All 4 of us would highly recommend this hotel. We didn’t do much in town, but we did dine at Daria’s. Great dinner!

Francesco (the owner) was very welcoming, kind and helpfull. It was really important for him that our stay would be as great & enjoyable as possible. It appears to be our best choice in the entire Toscany area. The spacious apartments, the, pesonal fresh breakfast served, the cleanliness, the authentic decoration and atmosphere, the excelent fresh apple cake.

It was all perfect!

Francesco immediately made us feel like family. He graciously shared the history of his family and the house/building. Our room was perfect: charming and clean with all the amenities. Francesco is an incredible baker, making delicious breakfasts each morning. We would highly recommend anyone traveling to Tuscany to visit Francesco at La Casa di'Adelina.

I have nothing to complain about.

We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Di Adelina. In reality its even better than on pictures. Room is really authentic but equipped with all the conveniences. Location is great, in the heart of Val d'Orcia - the most picturesque part of Toscana. The town is really small and friendly, there are very good restaurants and amazing view on the hills of Toscana. Francesco, our host, was very friendly and took a good care of our stay. We really enjoyed the breakfast, good coffee, fresh fruits, fresh bread and pastries. Upon request, Francesco can make amazing crepe with chestnut, eggs, waffles. Also he give us some valuable advises on what to visit in Toscana. Totally great experience, that made out stay in Toscana perfect.
