Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UruguayGreat location and service: we had a car and they arrange to have it picked up and delivered each time we needed it (parking was about 25€ per day, good rate for Positano. The owner runs the place and she was always very attempt with our requests.

Having a front facing room with a balcony is a little loud late at night, from the noise down below, but worth it for the view. We would definitely stay there again!

Excellent location right off the main square. Could not beat the convenience--just walked out the door to the main square, restaurants, and shops. Absolutely the most clean place that we have ever stayed at! It was spotless! Beds were comfortable, water pressure in shower was wonderful, and the AC unit worked great. Was very quiet even with the location right off the square. The views from the small balcony were wonderful. Recommend making sure you let staff know what time you are planning on arriving so that someone is there to meet you and get you into your room. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Love the location, Love the rooms. The two king rooms are fabulous (the ones facing the piazza tasso). Bathrooms are great. Balcony views wonderful. Close proximity to much dining, grocery store, marina grande, and shopping.

Giulia was exceptionally friendly, the room was modern, light and airy, and had two balconies, one with a superior view, and the other with chairs and a table. The bathroom was modern, yet very Sorrento with its floral tile. There was a nice coffee machine in the lobby and a snack machine as well. The cost was reasonable. We stayed at Positano for the following three nights, and both wished we would have just stayed the whole time at this hotel.

You can see everything from the room balconies and last but not least the host was amazing. She was very accommodating and helped and supported us with everything we needed during a health emergency.

And i we ended each night at the adorable little Irish pub down the street. After two nights, we knew the owner of the pub and fell in love with the community. Loved every minute of our time in Sorrento.

IrelandWe liked everything about our room, the advice we got from the receptionist and the cleanliness - everything was just amazing. The hotel is one floor 3 or 4 of a 4 or 5 storey building and there is a lift from right inside the door. It is really central but not at all noisy
