La Casa Dėl Porto - a cosy place to stay in! Amazing view, very comfortable location, many shops and restorants around, port and bus stop is next to this place, so you don't need to worry about the transport.

The stairs we a bit steep

We had real trouble getting through to the people who run the place,we spent over an hour in the information office just trying to get through to them They got through to you(Booking.com) eventually and then it was sorted out We had given them all our details as ask for months before, but never got the reply off them.It was a shame because after all that my family and friends have had a great time there.

We spent 3 days at La Casa del Porto. We booked the apartment "Deluxe" with 60sqm and balcony, but received a much smaller one without balcony. The reaction of the owner was: "Is the same rate, the other one was occupied". Not okay! "Deluxe" is a claim here that is not kept. The bathroom is nice, the first impression also. At second glance, however, everything seems al little old & cheap. One chair was broken, so someone was always eating standing up. The kitchen equipment is poor. Only one pot, and this one was broken without a handle (you burn your fingers), two small spoons, one small pan, rest ok. We do not expect a fully equipped kitchen, but so it is very unusable. Even worse, the dishes in the cupboard were greasy and dirty. Maybe the previous tenant did not wash dishes because there was no detergent and no dish towels. WLAN-quality is not good. . We read the ratings in advance and expected much more. We could not find ourselves in them. All in all, we were disappointed and can not recommend this "deluxe" accommodation.

Very close to everything. Little bit noisy, because there is a lot of traffic on the street in front of the house. But okay, when the windows are closed. Garage can be booked for an extra charge of 12 EUR per day. It is about 5 minutes walk away. Nice first impression.... but we booked another appartment and received a very smaller one...

The location

The bed was completely broken and squeaky, awful 😖 No complimentary toiletries disappointing, and the washing machine, I thought was in our room, downstairs, and it took a couple of days to get fixed and when it was oh my goodness, awful, took sooo long to wash and the dryer, never dried. I was with a group of us in different rooms, some had no kettles, some had no microwave? Not luxurious apartments.

Floors were very dusty around the edges and by the wardrobes. Windows not clean. No hairdryer or bathrobe provided although these are listed in the description. Only one toilet roll provided. Only one mirror which is in the bathroom. The bar style chairs are not in good condition. No instructions for the sauna. More attention to detail is needed along with routine maintenance.

Perfect location in centre of town by the boat and bus stops. Apartment building easy to find. Key provided in lock box. Stylish apartment with lovely view of the lake. Bathroom very good with great shower. Comfortable bed although mattress too short for tall people. Plenty of storage space.

The owner: somewhere beetwen negative from the beginig, cold, not even trying to act nice and be helpful. Zero point zero information, recommendations or any interaction with own guests. We reserved object because of the sauna in the first place, which she did not even mention. When I asked she openly unwiliingly led us to sauna (same floor, different place) and just said that is extra paid 10 € / person (thats ok with us) But the sauna itself is not really hot - maybe around 50 celcius (not a sauna then to be clear) but the reason for that is that very uniqe style and experience you are suppose to have - sauna is partially under old brick wall/ceililng. So yeah - it is kind of fancy but it completely does not work if you consider the goal of it. No to mention that I needed to text her from another mobile as our communication through booking chat just stopped in the moment we were given the keys. Btw, we came there as 2 friends, males. The owner did not ask are we going to share one bed or shall we prepare living room couch for sleeping. So we did it ourselves, searching wardrobes for additional sheets and so on. The aparmant: it seems very cozy at first sight. However you quickly realize that the 'style' here was way more important than practical stuff. No AC socket close to the bed in bedroom, only one socket near the kitchen table (you either use a lamp, microwave or charge yor phone). No tea-pot - neither electrical / classic one. Only one normal pot - very high one, for cooking pasta and that's all. No detergent to wash the dishes. The bar seats that one can hardly sit on without sliding down - kind of bad angle and uncomfortable. The same with the couch - looks nice but has anyone tried to sit on it to check before buying ?

Good things first - location is fantastic, an old italian builiding, first line to the lake. Our apartmant faced the lake and central square, had a balcony. Place is spacious and clean, designed with style, might be much more convenient tough.
