I really can’t say there was anything I disliked Everyone at La Boheme made me feel like we made a good choice of where to stay in Lucca. Thank you. 🌷

We loved Lucca , Italy! Walking from the train station to La Boheme was a pleasure. Seeing churches, people, buildings and stores was so unique. We knocked on the door and no one answered ( it was their closing hours), but we called and the hosts ‘ son came to help us in and gave us needed information. What he didn’t know , he told us he would talk with his parents. The bed sheets were so clean and comfortable. Deborah was an excellent host. She is beautiful, friendly, and professional Every morning we had a yummy continental breakfast, in a cozy eating area that included pastries, fruit and croissants. Deborah always started by asking if we would like a cup of coffee or espresso ( my husband always had both). Then she would ask if we wanted scrambled eggs. So thankful to her! 🌷 Lucca is a unique romantic city and La Boheme was the “cherry on top.” Oh yes, there were two young ladies , that I think made sure the hotel was always clean: they always had a friendly smile and they looked like they enjoyed their job. I have good memories of Lucca: all of it. I wish I was there. 🌷

La Bohème is the perfect spot for a short stay in Lucca. The location is very central and within walking distance to everything. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were very obliging with our extremely late check in and allowed us to store our luggage safely after we checked out. I would highly recommend staying here.

The hospitality at La Boheme is second to none. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. We had a late check in and they were very accommodating. They provided a lovely continental breakfast. The location is fantastic. Right in the heart of Lucca. A stones throw away from the bell tower! There are so many fantastic restaurants, cafes and gelato places nearby. Our room 'Tosca' is a beautifully decorated and very Italian style room. The bed was very comfortable and the room is SO quiet. You couldn't hear anything from outside. Perfect!! The bathroom is an excellent size and shampoo and showers gel were provided. We really loved our stay at La Boheme and would really recommend this wonderful B&B!

The location is central, perfect for exploring town on foot. Located in a traditional merchant house with much character and interesting door locks..if you want an authentic Lucca experience (as opposed to std corporate hotel) this won’t be easily bettered. Staff are very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Has secure parking nearby

The room was a bit dark but had everything we needed. Lots of wardrobe and drawer space. Efficient air conditioning. All staff very helpful, typical Italian breakfast. Close to all major attractions in Lucca, next to an exceptional restaurant “Pasqalli”

La Boheme we’re extremely accommodating to us when travelling with our three month old daughter, for which we couldn’t be more grateful. They set up a travel cot in the room and let us use facilities to store her milk safely. The breakfast was also delicious.

Perfect location in the beautiful city of Lucca. We were made to feel comfortable by the friendly and helpful staff in this lovely accommodation. An excellent breakfast was always served with a smile from our wonderful hostess, Debora.

Arriving by car to the hotel can be a challenge. Lucca is a medieval town with narrow streets, so mind your car paint :-)

I could kinda hear the people next door but slept with earplugs and it didn’t bother me.

Right in the center of the most ancient part of town. Incredible wood beam ceilings with decor that made me feel like I was royalty. Chiara was so helpful giving suggestions and even called the restaurant I was hoping to get a reservation at that was right up the street. She also found a plaza with benches when I shared that I needed someplace to sit and read. Great breakfast as well- they made scrambled eggs for individuals who wanted them in addition to yogurts, cakes, breads, cheese etc…

We had a palatial room, with excellent bathroom facilities. The place was centrally located, and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. The staff were exceedingly friendly and obliging.

Something was dripping all night in the bathroom but when I mentioned it the owner said she would fix.

This is a lovely b and b in a great location. The owner has gone the extra mile with period decor so it was very appealing and comfortable. The only concern was the lack of a lift which was really hard with a heavy suitcase because they are not in the ground floor. I rated down for facilities because there is no fridge (or microwave or other amenities you find at big hotels like a gym etc). While these are not standard for a b and b, a small fridge would be a nice addition.
