Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe garden is an oasis in the middle of a small town. The rooms are furnished with attention to detail and individually. The owners were very friendly and offered many suggestions for things to do. The cat was cute and cuddly. We felt very relaxed and comfortable.

United KingdomThe B&B was excellent, those who want relaxation, tranquility, peace and want to unplug are the right place. The house and room are truly wonderful, nothing is missing. We appreciated the internal garden and patio where we could relax even if our trip was for work. The B&B fully exceeded our expectations, we can only recommend it and we will certainly return. Always the top! Thanks for everything :)

It is a beautful and extremely comfortable house and rooms for guests with facilities better than others. Roberto was extremely helpful and kind and attentive to our needs. The price for this stay was very good and I hope to be able to stay again in the future for a longer period.

Czech RepublicFirst of all, we liked the willingness of the owner, Robert, who came to the station for us and, even before the accommodation, took us on a tour of Riposte. The accommodation was beautiful, clean, the equipment was perfect. Beautiful garden, sitting outside. Close to pizzeria, cafe, pastry shop, port. We enjoyed our stay, we recommend it to everyone who wants to travel around the area.

PolandWhere do I start... you can find parking for free right in front of the house for free and it is not a problem. But as soon as you enter the house it feels like something straight out of the fairytale. The building was a traditional Sicilian villa with a beautiful garden in the middle of it all and colorful tables and chairs outside with local motives. the room was in the first floor accessible by people with wheelchairs as well. The room was spacious and had natural light, the bathroom was outside of the room but accessible only by our room. Also, a kitchen was offered with all the basic stuff you needed if you wanted to cook. The city center was only a 3 min walk from the house, and the nearest beach about 5 min away by foot. The host was the best, he had curated the building with cards and suggestions of places to go around Riposto. I would definitely go back again.

Czech RepublicWe stayed at “Alcova” apartments and it’s so cozy, we loved it. Roberto and his lovely wife did everything for our stay to be comfortable and so it was indeed. Wonderful garden, friendly cat Goethe, great patisseries and restaurants nearby. The place is really quiet! We seriously wanted to stay for longer. Grazie Roberto.

PolandEverything was great!
I was visiting la Baronessa B&B with my friend. Our stay from the very beginning to the very end was a great experience. Walther, Giovanni and their dad were very helpful hosts and took care of everything. The B&B itself was better than we imagined. Beautiful room with wooden furnitures and colorful paintings made by Mr Litteri. And of course one of the most magical gardens I have ever seen. Riposto is a lovely city with not as many tourists, great to relax and spend time at the beach. I would also recommend having a breakfast at Pasticceria Chantilly, that is close to la Baronessa B&B. Delicious coffee, pastries and very friendly staff, that we will definitely miss. We regret not booking a few more days there! Thank you for all and we send belly rubs to Goethe!

United KingdomWe liked everything. There is nothing I would change about it, our overall stay was very enjoyable and we almost regretted not booking for an extra day or two. We would definitely return to stay there.
The Baronessa is well located and easy to reach by train and on foot from the station. We were allowed to check in early at 10 am, we were welcomed and offered some local fruit (apricots) and drinks. The garden, in the centre of the property, is a perfect oasis of peace and quiet, we enjoyed sipping wine while admiring the various mediterranean plants and trees. The room was clean and spacious, the shower powerful. When we asked any information we were always recommended well, from the closest beach to where to go for a walk in the evening to restaurants and bars.

HungaryWhen we saw the palazzo and especially its wonderful garden full of plants, lemon trees and orange trees we were amazed. The old palazzo has a special atmosphere, marriage of the past and present: the vibrant colors of the walls and the abstracts paintings create a perfect harmony with the old pieces of furniture and embroidered curtains. The terrace is so peaceful, you can really have a relaxing moments there. And not at least, our host Giovanni is best host ever. He is very helpful, patient, kind and thoughtful. Thank you Giovanni to make this vacation so good and memorable for us, and thank you for your friendship as well. Greeting from Hungary: Anna and Maria

PolandNothing:) Everything was great!
Beautiful old, stylish and great mainenanted pension. Rooms and kitchen with a soul. Gorgious garden! We spent a week in this place and we sincerely recommend it. You can spend a nice moment on the beautiful patio in the shade, where you can catch your breath from the heat. Everything as it should be, access to the kitchen, clean rooms, regularly tidy. Very helpful and nice hosts, especially Givanni, whom we would like to thank very much for all tips, help and hospitality. And of course for fresh, delicious fruits straight from the tree:)

ItalyThe lady owner was very kind, and always supportive. Anyway I felt surprised in my good faith in few occasions. To our request to park the car inside, we were hastily told to park along the street. We left one day in advance because of an air controllers' strike and the owner did not recognize any refunds (lawful) but also demanded that we leave the apartment on check out time (absurd, having paid for one day more)!
The position, the house itself, the cleanliness. My room was big, very well furnished. There is a beautiful garden where you can relax and also have the breakfast. It's in the town center, so very convenient for visiting the town, anyway very quiet. It's also close to the beaches.
