This isn’t a negative really but the hotel is about a 15/20 minute steep walk to the main part. It is fine, just not in the midday sun.

The hotel staff were friendly, helped with ordering taxis and told us great places to visit. The hotel itself was beautiful, there was a relaxing pool area and the rooms were a great size, with beautiful views.

Small room and very small shower space. I'm 5ft tall/95lbs and it felt tight. Breakfast can have different variety and not the same every day. Not very close to the town center. There's a shortcut in the back but we took taxis most of the time for convenience.

The friendliest front desk staff! They assisted us with booking restaurant reservation and calling for taxis. Answered all our questions and gave us directions on the best way to get into the town center. The BEST view!

The only letdown was the food. We ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant the day we arrived and were quite disappointed. Breakfast was also just okay.

The staff was extremely friendly and we had a beautiful view of mount Vesuvius from our room. The pool was also very nice.

If you’re arriving via the train the easiest and fastest option to reach the hotel is on the bus. Just be careful when you get off at the stop as the road is a little dicey if rolling your suitcase to the driveway. Otherwise the hotel team provided a few good alternative options to reach the hotel.

Beautiful, well maintained property with a stunning view. Helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to take care of you and make your stay happy. Simple rooms, but super clean and comfortable with everything you need. Great breakfast, great pool. The aircon worked amazingly during the 35C+ weather. I liked being located out of the busy town, but it was a nice short walk to get down there. Would stay again!

The property is out of town overlooking the bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. It’s a gorgeous location and view. Very quiet. The staff were terrific. The grounds were naturally landscaped and the pool was clean and refreshing. They had a restaurant with great food and could sit outside with the same amazing view. I would stay here again.

Had evening meal on one occasion in restaurant had hot meat main but mixed grilled vegetables were served cold seemed odd.

The only thing I would say is that our room was slightly small. It was absolutely fine for us as a couple, as it was all we needed. However, if I were to be staying for longer I would probably want a slighter more spacious bedroom. Regardless, I would 100% stay here again.

Our stay at Hotel La Badia was amazing. I was over the moon about the property. Not only did it have a stunning exterior and interior, all well kept, landscaped and designed but it also had the most perfect view of a hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful making the stay that extra bit more enjoyable. The facilities were fabulous, especially the tranquil pool area which we found a lovely touch.

Did not like how we were charges for beach towels and items in the mini-fridge. For a property at this price i think those items should be included.

Property was lovely. Had some water issues while we were there but nothing major. Restaurant was very good and loved how quiet hotel was and used the balcony off our room each night to enjoy view.

The Italian buffet breakfast was served immaculately and so professionally and with warmth and love from the amazing staff at La Badia definitely will be back I hope next year we loved the pace and relaxation and ambience of Hotel La Badia and of course Marissa, Patrizia and every single staff member who we crossed paths with , you made our stay so memorable and magical, loved it so much. There is a hill to get up to the hotel from the town which is quite a hike.

Lovely location, walk to main piazza through the hotels shortcut was easy and accessible. Amazing views from room and dining balcony. Some really nice seating areas as you wondered around the property. Bar staff were always very friendly and welcoming and reception helpful with taxi transfers and bus networks.

Charming hotel with stunning views of Vesuvius and the bay of Naples. Deep refreshing pool and lots of tanning beds. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room, Rossa was very spacious and comfortable with a large bed and small balcony overlooking the sea. Nice buffet breakfast and the hotel serves lunch, dinner and drinks. Thank you to Alessandro and all the staff! We booked a tour of Capri with the hotel directly which was fantastic. For £139 per person we got driven to the port, taken by boat to several locations around Capri, were able to stay there for several hours and explore and then picked up and driven back - highly recommend it!

A fresh fruit salad at breakfast would have been welcomed rather than a selection of pieces of fruit. On days fresh peaches or nectarines were available, they disappeared quickly.

Amazing view from the outside dining area. Our room overlooked the bay of Naples. Staff could not be more helpful. Accommodated a selection 0f gluten free products at breakfast. Some people would find the walk back up quite difficult but there was a bus service that stopped close to the entrance to the hotel.
