Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe property is located at beautiful mountain area. It’s very quiet but you will enjoy the view and chill time at your own room and common area. The room has beautiful coastline and montane view. The owner Mariano is such a lovely person to communicate with. He cares about guests, prepares breakfast in the morning and will offer train station pick up if you don’t have a car. Most of roads in Sorrento area is very narrow. I don’t have major problems with just using public transport just need to keep the timetable in mind to plan your trip. I managed to get to Sorrento and Capri by only using public transport in this area. Must have to mention the puppy in the house, he’s so gentle and lovely. I liked my room too I have my own space and me time. I can just have an early night watch some videos on my phone and talked to my friends over the phone and stayed at room. More importantly I had a small kitchen and fridge in my room. So I can simply prepare some fruits and drinks in the fridge.

United KingdomNothing - everything was great, especially the coffee!
Amazing hosts - beautiful location which is ideal to explore the local area as well as having the beauty of the rural setting. The whole place was clean and welcoming - the coffee in the morning was fantastic and the breakfast was exceptional! I travel to Sorrento very often for work so know a lot of local places to stay and this is the best I have found.

United KingdomNothing - it was all far better than hoped.
Everything! The ambience, the location and the environment were just perfect. It’s a really special place where you can relax away from the bustle of Sorrento while also being close enough to easily access the town and other areas. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the service was impeccable, breakfast was lush and the owner was the best. Added bonus of lovely Zeus the dog, too :) Will absolutely return.

United StatesWe loved our stay. Just keep in mind if you are not renting a car or scooter like we did: the area is a good location to get to Sorrento once you get to the main square (<10min bus ride from there) but it is around 30 minute walk to get to the center itself. (Google maps showed that there is a bus stop 10min walk away from the property but when we got there it looked deserted and seems like buses don't come there anymore or they only come a few times a day/week). Walking down isn't bad, we did it every morning. It's the way back up you need to keep in mind of if you are choosing not to rent a vehicle. Taxis are very expensive for a short ride back up (we just bit the bullet to save walking up. we did the walk up the first night and it was difficult) & they won't take you all the way to the property itself since the road becomes too narrow.
Our stay was fantastic! Our room was comfortable and we had a beautiful view outside our window and breakfast was always delicious with fresh home-grown vegetables and fruits!! Host is very accommodating and picked us up/dropped us off at the train station upon arrival and departure and even took us into Sorrento once as he was running errands there as well. Location is great and we were able to visit Sorrento by a short bus ride (<10minutes) which made it easy for us to visit other places using the buses/ferry leaving from Sorrento (Positano, Amalfi, Capri) Zeus (dog) is also the cutest thing and we loved playing with him (make sure he stays behind the gate as you leave the property). Very welcoming family and we look forward to visiting again, thank you Giovanni!

HungaryYou can only drive to the location with a tiny car (very narrow streets) or you need perfect driving skills with both side-mirrors shut. Otherwise you need to walk 5 minutes upwards. When we arrived/left they picked us up with a car because of the luggages. That was nice of them. I would definitely go back but with a smaller car. PS: It would be nice to be able to choose English breakfast instead of the sweet Italian one
Beautiful location with a spectacular lemontree garden and amazing view. Family-run business with clean and comfy rooms.

United StatesThe host Mariano was extremely kind, helpful and went out of his way to assist us. Amazing food, views from the top, and peaceful setting. Family farm is charming and quiet. If you want to help support local family owned B&B, please go here and support Mariano and his family. One note, make sure you have a small car when parking at this place. If it's bigger, you'll need to park nearby and Marianno will help you and shuttle. Bellisimo!!

BulgariaThe property is clean, there is hot water, nice bathroom, large room with kitchen and very comfortable bedroom. The host Mariano is very kind, he took us from Saint’Angelo when we arrived and left us there by his car when we left the property so we catch the bus for Naples airport. The property is very big, there are many lemon threes, orange threes and lime threes. At the morning Mariano made for us really delicious eggs with bread, cream cheese and homemade tomatoes, also there is a fresh juice from their garden. He helped us to rent a scooter once we arrived and we easily went to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi and where we want. The view from the house is just amazing… Near to the house have good restaurant. Also Mariano has really nice and friendly dog. Thanks Mariano my friend :)

United StatesLiterally nothing. It was perfect!
Absolutely stunning property, stunning view, the family who runs it is very friendly and nice. It's a bit out of the way from Sant'Agnello/Sorrento but there's a bus that takes you relatively close so even if you don't have a car it's fairly accessible. Pizza place just down the hill is exceptional. I wish we had stayed for longer, and if I come back to the area I definitely will be staying at Arancio in Fiore.

IndiaThe location os Amaizng..Specially with the Sea facing view.. As u are placed at the top of the hill, the view of The sea, especially at night is truly exhilarating. The host ,Mr Mariano, is always available incase of any problems. And the Best part is he came to pick us and drop is back at the Station. Since the place is on top, the last bus I belive is at 7pm, so if u want to late night out, it is always ideal to rent a bike. We managed to rent a bike ,and we covered the coast of amalfi and positano, on the bike..It was a good suggestion by the Host. Breakfast is provided in house and it is good. Woth lots of Lemons and oranges around the property,u can always relish these fruits. The room that we got, was spacious and it had most of the amenities and the property was just the way it was described. If you want to explore the quieter and serene atmosphere in Italy, this is an ideal place, with the sea in the foreground and the trees in the background

BulgariaIf you decide to visit by car, make sure you rent a Fiat 500/Panda as otherwise you won't be able to reach the house. The driveway is extremely narrow. This is something normal for this part of Italy so it's not something I didn't like but I think it should be marked better in the description of the property.
The house has a great view and is very close to Sorrento and the Amalfi coastal road. Mariano makes a very nice breakfast in the morning with fresh orange juice from the trees in the garden of the house.

Germanywe loved it!!! The setting is more than beautiful and the owner made us feel right at home. The B&B is on an orange and lemon farm on a small hill. From up here you have a fascinating view over the Gulf of Naples. When you open your bedroom window in the morning you can admire the Vesuv. In the mornings the lovely host prepares a huge breakfast with a variety of dishes from traditional Italian pastry to English breakfast (eggs cooked to your liking) and a nice cup of Americano or Cappuccino. Since we didn’t have a car, he often took us down the hill with him or picked us up at the train station. In general he was always accommodating and helpful. Only a 100m down the hill we found the best Pizza we’ve had during our entire stay in Italy!! we especially recommend the Pizza which is named after this B&B. If you walk further up the hill there are some nice restaurants with a view on the Amalfi Coast as well as the Gulf of Naples. In general, even without a car, from here you can easily get places. You are quickly in Sorrento where all the ferries and buses to the Amalfi coast depart in the mornings and at the train station which brings you in 30 mins to Pompeji and Naples in 90 mins. we highly recommend staying here. but bring a SMALL car, the roads are narrow. :-)

IndiaThis homestay is very very good, with a great opened space where you can relax and have your delicious breakfast. We got authentic and homemade Italian breakfast as it was included in the package. Rooms are so comfortable and have big bathroom, kitchen and dining table. They provide very good Wi-Fi, AC, porch. The timetable of all the buses, trains and ferries are displayed in the hallway. You can also get all the information about the Amalfie coast from the host. The hosts are very nice guys always helping us and were amazingly kind and generous. They picked up us at 11pm from station and also dropped us to the sorrento city when ever we needed a ride.
