Finding the property using Maps on the iPhone took us on the wrong route, leading us down a back alley dirt road, which made locating the property a bit difficult. Some additional information about finding the location would be helpful. When we departed in the morning, we exited through a different, nicely paved street, which was much more comfortable and did not feel as sketchy as the nighttime route we arrived on. The primary language spoken at the property is Italian. While this wasn't an issue and added to the authentic experience, some basic English would be helpful. However, the charm of working to communicate and figuring out what is being said does add to the authenticity.

The property is absolutely beautiful. We only needed one night so booked a basic room because we were travelling south the next day after arriving from Canada to Rome. The room we had was basic, clean, and comfortable. It is a special place that feels a bit unknown and undiscovered—a hidden gem! The staff are all so friendly and kind. Despite our flight arriving late into Rome, causing us to arrive past the check-in time, the owners graciously waited for us and ensured we were settled in. We were hungry upon arrival, and the staff prepared a lovely and delicious dinner for us (tip: ask for pricing before you commit to your order, as it was a bit pricey). The red wine we had with dinner was quite nice. We enjoyed strolling around the lovely grounds in the evening and again in the morning, appreciating the natural setting with beautiful trees, flowers, etc. The two pools are absolutely gorgeous, and there's a lovely area for kids and families to play outdoors, complete with a nice soccer field and games. The breakfast, which is included, consists of a croissant and any kind of coffee or tea you'd like. It was delicious and all we needed to start our day. Overall, this place is a wonderful, serene escape, perfect for a relaxing getaway for a few days. In its prime, this was a pristine 4+ star resort, and although it shows signs of aging, it remains a serene gem that one can appreciate. The wear and tear likely stem from the impact of the 2020 pandemic, which significantly affected tourism and small properties. (I added some photos that I took but they do not match the categories because I didn’t take pics of those things so added what I could)
