Room is literally over the La Spezia Central Station, which is good, but in the way you have to climb quite a lot. Without any lifts it's quite challenging, to say the least

Excellent location for the train to take to Cinque Terre. Marco was an excellent host. Carried bags to the room. Had great communication and was on time to meet us at the location. There really are 150 steps to the location. It is a 25 minute walk to the waterfront, 20 minutes to the main square.

Too many steps but Marco literally carried our luggage up the stairs (80-100) maybe more so we only had to walk up!

Everything - it was probably the best B&B I have ever been. Marco went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. From helping us to carry our luggage to the room when we arrived in a raining evening, to the amazing breakfast served in the terrace, everything was great. The B&B is located very close to La Spezia station - very convenient to get the train to Cinque Terre

If anything, there are some steps to climb to get to the house, and some steps to reach the room. But on the other hand you have access to the rooftop terrace with a view over the city.

Marco was an exellent host! Good information, recommendations for restaurants, initial information and followup on all questions we had during the stay. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Short walking distance to the railwaystation is a pluss for daytrips to Cinque Terre. Short way to the main restaurant street. Free parking if you arrive by car.

Marco was super available and nice, the room was extra clean, the building was special and beautiful. We had to climb a lot of stairs but Marco helped us with the luggage and it was sooo worth it due to the amazing view from the rooftop.

It was a little hard to find. I booked it because it was near the train station but it's actually around the back so you have to walk down a set of stairs in the parking garage, out to the city street, which is below the station, down the block, make a u-turn, go up another block, which is uphill, then climb two stories of stairs outdoors, enter by a marked gate, walk down a walkway to the only available door, which isn't marked, then ideally text the guy to be buzzed in and walk up to the third floor where the rooms are. It's not at the top of the stairway because there's a terrace at the very top. It's right below that one. But there's no sign yet so you can't tell that. They need to add a sign at the door to the building telling you how to buzz in, another sign at the stairs telling you what floor to go to and a sign at the door on the third floor saying the name of the hotel. I told that to the guy who let us in so hopefully they will put some up. He said he intended to send us the information by WhatsApp but he was just a bit late doing so so we ended up wandering around confused and talking to the neighbor (family member?) who very nicely let us in. They're going to get tired of that pretty fast though, dealing with all the annoying hotel guests bugging them. I'm sure they'll put up signs, though. It seems like they're just really new to the business. Anyway the stay was amazing once we got in there so overall I would be happy to return. Lots of stairs to climb though!

The house was amazing, perfectly clean, as if it had never been slept in before. This clearly is a family Airbnb type of situation where the son is in charge of the rooms. He brought us personally selected breakfast items at the time we asked for in the morning and even helped let in the food delivery person so we could get dinner. The service is high quality. The rooms themselves have obviously just been constructed. Everything was immaculate. There was a tablet for information about the hotel available in the room, wireless charging stations, strong wifi and good air conditioning.

The building is a bit far from the center, and the streets around may be a little dark, but the neighborhood is safe and there is nothing to worry about.

Marco is a great host, he made our stay so good! He is always available for questions and recommendations. The breakfast was so good, he let us choose from a list and everything was delicious. Staying here was a great decision!
