Not being able to use lift. 4 flights of stairs with luggage was difficult. No offer of help with luggage. Told lift was broken. It wasn’t saw others using it. Told next day hotel guests not allowed to use lift. Should be advertised. For older people stairs could pose a big problem.

Firstly, the cleanliness. Room seemed not to be mopped. Shower was dirty and the water drain worked poorly. Hairdryer was a little old and it took me so long to blow dry my hair so I would recommend bringing your own. Secondly, it was really hard to find the destination because maps doesn’t show the exact location. We also waited a while in front of hotel because even after ringing the bell nobody would open the door. One morning we couldn’t sleep because neighbors from upstairs were banging on the floor and it was really unpleasant.

Breakfast was excellent expect from cold toasts. There was a variety of products to choose from and everything was good quality. The room was huge and had good air conditioning. There was the best pizza near the hotel (pizzeria della madonna dei monti).

Breakfast times were a little off even though breakfast was nice. A little difficult to find at first.

Location is amazing, just a short walk to the Colosseum and Forum. Within walking distance to all sights.

The bed in the room was two beds put together. It was much more comfortable to sleep on just one than to try and sleep in the middle. The jacuzzi has clearly seen better days. It was nice to use but it seemed a bit old.

The location was great! I was able to walk from my room to a view of the Colosseum in less than 5 min. It was on the side of the city closest to the main train station in the city. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, though I thought it was a bit too much for just one person.

Asked for a twin room. Was given a double room. Was promised this would be adjusted the following day but no change. No one at reception to ask about this. No breakfast provided on 1 st morning - no one around to ask.

There was no key for the lift, very inconvenient to use the stairs with heavy luggage. It rained and we got wet, felt cold and asked about the heating which wasn't available just yet, November.

Was concerned the lift was not working on both our stays, firstly 2 nights then 3 weeks later 3 nights. Lighting in the stairwell was poor, and at night pretty dangerous, as is the step in the office. Noted no fire sprinklers or escape route. Maybe this is a Rome thing, but concerning none the less.

Shame we couldn’t use the lift as we had a very heavy suitcase but luckily my husband was strong enough to carry it up. Barely any cutlery or crockery in the kitchenette which didn’t matter to us but imagine would be frustrating if staying longer.

Lovely receptionist Celine checked us in and was able to look after our bags as we’d arrived early. Aircon was efficient, location was right where you’re surrounded by everything but really quiet to sleep, and bed was comfortable. Plugs by the bed.

The building itself is not very clean and has not been renovated in a while. The elevator is private and does not work for the clients of the hotel. The climatisation does not work very well.

On 2nd floor (in USA we would call this 3rd floor) . There is an elevator but it is not available for guests. Husband had to carry up heavy bags since we got there after desk hours. Clerk helped when we left. Those two flights of stairs were very hard after sightseeing all day. I am sure it is fine for people younger and healthier than us.

Room was clean, spacious and very close to the colosseum. About 45 minutes for us to walk to Vatican City. Breakfast, served in room, was satisfactory (coffee, juice, yogurt, cake, cheese, meat, crackers). Shower door was tight for me at 250 lbs but water pressure was good and plenty of hot water. Nice that we could store our bags after checkout for a few hours.

The hotel is near a few restaurants; sound insulation is poor on the inside and outside also. Breakfast is pretty poor, and possible to eat in your room only. Also, it can be challenging to enter the hotel if you arrive late since reception works only till 8 pm. The lock on the hotel entrance is old and takes some time to figure out how to unlock it.

The location is perfect, and all most popular objects are max 30-40 min away on a walk.

it is noisy as it’s on a busy central street packed with bars and restaurants that are open late. when the revellers quieten down, the refuse collectors arrive! take your ear plugs
