Probably the main negative for us was disturbance from a crying child. Probably not something the Residence could do anything about and maybe the child was ill. Although the apartment was well equipped the size of the pans meant that it was difficult to use two pans at a time. Probably most people go out or have food delivered.

The residence is in a good position for both the centre and also the railway station. The apartment was a good size with a large balcony and lake view. We were in the apartment for 2 weeks and opted for cleaning halfway through. Very pleased with the standard of cleaning.

It would have been nice to have had a toaster but otherwise all fine.

The apartment was spacious and extremely clean, in a great location close to the lake and a short walk to many good restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.

Not a lot happening in the Apt complex / doesn't really have a holiday feel about it. Could do with some flowers/ shrubs on balcony area's- they are large balconies but very basic. Views of the lake are very distant. You enter & leave your Apt on 4th floor from walkway that overlooks large buildings - not a pretty sight!! Some staff quite nice but one rather large gentleman very rude when asked if we could prebook breakfast the night before. Completely over-reacted!

Very spacious apartment - 2 bedrooms- very clean and well maintained. Fabulous rain shower in bathroom. About 10 mins walk to Desenzano downhill. Supermarket abt 5 mins walk but not very friendly/ minimal selection. Breakfast at Il Sogno is adequate but not a big selection. Pool is quite small / cold. Plenty sunbeds to lie out. Surrounds/ garden well kept & clean. Beds very comfortable. Overall nice Apartment just a bit away from the holiday vibe you get by being more central.

There could have been more cutlery.

Despite the fact that the apartment is modest, our stay in this place was very pleasant and we would stay here again next time. The location of the apartment is very good. The train station, car rental, grocery store and eateries are a short walk away, and the center is also within walking distance. The staff was friendly, helpful and supportive.

Air conditioning very noisy had to turn it off at night and not very good during the day. Poor lighting in the room at night. Needs better access to the refuge bins. Soundproofing could be better. Hairdryer poor.

We had a nice stay here the staff were helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and very clean although in my opinion the furniture and décor is a bit dated and could do with updating however it is functional. The balconies are large and sunny. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice we only had breakfast once so don't know if there are different items daily . The location its about 10 minutes from the centre and about the same to the train station in the opposite direction, 5minutes to Ins supermarket at the bottom of the street and around 15- 20 minutes to larger supermarkets. So its pretty central for everything.

I’m being picky here really as there was nothing really that i disliked, just felt that it could do with being a little bit more modern, like soft close doors on the kitchen units & maybe nicer tiles in the bathroom but that’s just my taste really & no reflection on the apartment.

The location was great, the size of the apartment was bigger than expected & had everything that we needed.

There is nothing we didn’t like, it was great.

The size of our room was amazing for our family of five. We had a patio and balcony that overlook the lake. The pool was excellent and a perfect way to cool down. From the pictures we thought the hotel may be a little old fashioned but this was not the case! The free bike hire, short walk into the centre and 2 minute walk to the supermarket was the icing on the cake! We loved our trip and would 100% recommend.

The pool was very shallow and way to many chemicals to the point it irritated the eyes immediately. Not the best, the beds were also a bit hard. Very over priced for 1 night.

The staff were lovely, the room was clean and they were able to accommodate our every needs. Could not fault it at all. Great recommendations of what to do locally and where to eat. Could not have been friendlier.

Nothing we didn’t like whatsoever, only request would possibly be to have toasters or a grill in the kitchen of the apartment. The microwave had a grill setting but that is just not the same.

Loved everything about this property! Perfect location as easy access to train station, lake, town centre and local shop. Staff were exceptional, they helped us with so much useful information especially best way to travel to various places without a car. Many extra facilities including bikes & pool towels, there was nothing more we could have needed for our week long stay! This not the cheapest option but worth the price tag, I personally would only ever stay in lake garda with a swimming pool available to cool off-it is needed in the summer months.

We booked an apartment with few hours before arrival and we were super surprised. Everything was perfect! The apartment very big and clean, with a kitchen well equipped. The pool for the little one was just perfect after many hours spent in the car. The Mr from the reception was very supportive, helping us with all the things we needed. Thank you! We will definitely comeback here!

It was sad that the english and german TV channels did not work We were also disappointed that no taxi was available to take us to the train station the distance seems to be too close (not a fault of Il Sogno) just to be aware we had to walk with my husband in the wheelchair and all luggage in pouring rain UPHILL luckily a kind young man gave us help pushing the wheelchair we are ll in our 80s and you might consider this
