The location of the hotel was just perfect, close to the historical center and the beautiful nature. Breakfast was very good, good variety of food. Ladies were preparing a tasty coffee. The owner of the hotel was quite helpful, provided his recommendations around, booked a table in a restaurant and helped to buy nice homemade olive oil. Grazie mille! Definitely we will be back. We liked the nature around and the facility itself, very cosy!

Checkin was disturbing in that we were told we had already checked in and left. Not true and was resolved. However we were led to “our” room where confusion still reigned as it was clear the prior occupants had not vacated. Over the next hour or so this was also resolved. After that auspicious start things improved.

Beautiful serene place. Location provided easy walking access to the town, avoiding the congestion in Montepulciano. Staff were very pleasant while breakfast was great.

Only one tiny thing - the sink in the bathroom was slow to drain.

The hotel is a great location set in lovely gardens just 10 minutes walk from the old part of Montepulciano. The hotel is decorated in a lovely traditional Italian style and the host and staff are friendly and attentive. Our room was spotlessly clean and was spacious. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely hotel in a peaceful location. About 20mins walk to town. Rooms were spacious and had a shared lounge and terrace. Breakfast buffet was very nice. Staff friendly.

Location was a bit far from the eateries and wine stores as i didn’t have a vehicle.

Loved staying in this place. Operated by an older couple you can see they put so much love into this place. Definitely recommend, especially for a couple and stay a few nights so you can relax in their beautiful garden.

I would have liked dairy free options at breakfast but it wouldn't put me off staying again.

The setting is beautiful, it's located in the country only a 10 minute walk from the town. There was ample free parking and a lovely big garden at the property. The room was very spacious.

It is a decent walk up to the historical centre, especially the Grande Piazze, but if you are able bodied and avoid the hottest times not a problem.

A beautifully restored boutique hotel. Very thoughtful staff and pleasant gardens. Well away from the throngs in the centre of Montepulchiano.

Very friendly staff. We love the location because it is outside the city wall and free parking is included. We love to walk and it is possible to walk to the city center, if you are in moderately good shape as it is uphill. Very good breakfast and very relaxing and well-maintained surroundings. We will stay here again if we go back.

Heat pump in our room had its settings fixed so we couldn't adjust the controls. The unit itself was not very efficient and was very noisy which made sleeping difficult. We needed this on as the weather for our stay was extremely hot.

Location of premises just outside the old city. The owners / staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional.

We didn't book a room in advance, we "dropped in unexpectedly", but Niccolo was very helpful and friendly. We went from one amazement to another. The hotel garden would be in any movie day or night. The tasteful colour of the rooms, the uniqueness of the furniture mixed with the modern world's tools amazed us. The breakfast is sophisticated and not only Italian breakfast lovers will find something to their liking. During our stay there, we also felt special. It is close to the historic city centre, for which we were given a map and lots of good advice. If you're in the area, don't miss it. Thanks for the experience!

The location is great, the breakfast was delicious (brilliant selection, lovely cappuccinos and nice atmosphere) and the owners are so friendly and kind. It is great value for money and the property and grounds are stunning. I’d recommend you walk 15 minutes out of the town to La Locanda di Godiolo and try their wine tasting set lunch menu/enjoy a home cooked meal in the evening.

There was nothing that we didn't like, we would love to return some day.

We loved everything. Both the room and the common areas were beautifully decorated, the garden was gorgeous and the breakfast was very good and varied. The staff was warm and friendly.
