Our host Dominico was super! The property was very clean. The room was very large with very comfortable beds and a great bathroom. The property was exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing country retreat. Amazing!

A beautiful family run property with only 5 rooms on site. Quiet, homely, very spacious and amazing attention to detail. Beautiful home cooked meals too with delicious drinks by the pool at very affordable prices. Couldn't recommend this place more - one of the best stays we've had!!!

This place could not be better. Honestly, it’s above and beyond.

This place is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and I see everyone on this platform seems to agree. The owner personally drove us around because we didn’t have a car. There are only 5 rooms so you barely see anyone except at breakfast and feel like you rented an astonishingly gorgeous country house, only it comes with staff and cooks—and wow, can grandma cook! Dinners were just exceptional and breakfast on the patio is lovely. While not “cheap,” the price here for what you get is less than half of what similar hotels with such attention to detail and above and beyond service generally cost, and it just couldn’t be prettier. Get the massage! Nearby towns and wine tasting are fun—we rode horses too—but honestly you barely want to leave the property because it’s so idyllic.

Great place to stay in Tuscany. The family-owned villa welcomed us with warmth and kindness. The room was very spacious and beautiful. Very clean. Breakfast provided a variety of options that will meet almost any expectations. The infinity pool looks gorgeous with outstanding surrounding views. All the details were thoughtfully considered so nothing can interfere with your stay at the villa. Late dinner carefully prepared out of fresh local ingredients left us with an unforgettable impression. Special thanks to Domenico and his mother!

Everything was PERFECT

Everything was amazing, I think we couldn’t dream of a better place than this to stay in Tuscany. The bed was super super confortable, the room extremely clean and big, the staff was so kind (it’s a family which owns this place and they took much care of us), the food is homemade and is delicious (we ate there every single night), and the activities proposed very fun (we took the electric bikes for a day and the cooking class for another day, I recommend). Also, the place is extremely calm, away from the highway, and given that it only has 5 suites in total, it was even more peaceful. Breakfast also was DELICIOUS with only local products, and a lot of choice.

There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the establishment

I went on a trip with my girlfriend and wanted to propose to her during our stay in Tuscany, I asked if they can arrange something in our room and they went above and beyond. A big thank you to Domenico and the Il Giuncheto staff. The place is absolutely beautiful, we had I think one of the smaller rooms in the property but it really didn't feel like it. Their breakfast and their coffee in the morning were very good and tasty. I would strongly recommend anyone going to Tuscany to stay at their place. It's a definit 100%

We cannot think of anything that could be improved.

We loved the location, our room, the amazing shower, the delicious and bountiful breakfast, and the on site restaurant with wonderful meals. The owners extended a genuinely warm hospitality to us and to all the other guests. Domenico is a certified Sommelier and has vast knowledge of the wines in the area. Domenico's mother is an excellent chef for the on site restaurant.

We loved the property. Very relaxing, quiet and immersed in the green. The swimming is breathtaking with view in The Valley. The short distance from Val D’Orcia makes the property very convenient as it’s in the middle of all that valley towns. The owner was always supportive and gave us a lot of advices for places where we can eat. Breakfast was also very tasty and mix of salty and sweet. Will come back for sure!

Nothing...I didnt like that we had to leave...

My wife and I spent two weeks in Italy for our 39th anniversary and Il Guincheto was by far the best place we stayed...I would give it more than a 10 if I could...Domenico and his Mom were like living with family for four wonderful days...the breakfasts were outstanding, the dinner were all home cooked meals made by Mom and the cooking class was extraordinary...for such a young man Domenico is driven to succeed and understands that work ethic, service and quality set you apart from the rest. He and his Mom made us feel like we belonged and we did not want to leave...this is where we stay in Tuscany from now on. and with Domenico's vision of the future I only see Il Guincheto getting even better. Cant wait to go back!

Absolutely everything. Dominico and his mother were absolutely amazing the entire time. They have created such a special place that they love to share. Having travelled through Italy for a number of weeks, if you’re really after an Italian family feel where you feel appreciated this is certainly the place to go to completely relax. Everything was perfect! I just wished we could have stayed longer!

II guincheteo is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts, Dominico and Angela were wonderful, kind and friendly. They were very informative about sights to see and places to visit and eat. The setting was gorgeous, a beautifully restored Tuscan country house with infinity pool overlooking olive trees, grape vines and the hills of Tuscany. We were a short drive 15-20 minutes to beautiful towns like Pienza and montipelciano. So a great spot to make home base. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of variety, fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses and meats, coffee, juice etc. eaten on a beautiful terrace overlooking the grounds. We also stayed for dinner 3 nights, Angela does all of the cooking and it was some of the best food we had on our trip! II Guincheto is a magical place and I truly hope we can visit again!

This is absolutely a great start for our Tuscany journey! Five star rooms, service, facilities and views. Very private but at the same time still accessible to each attraction. Their dinner menu is amazing! Best you can find in Tuscany. The aubergine parmesan and pasta were the best we had! Thanks for Domenico and his mom’s hospitality, we had a wonderful time there! We only wish that we could stay more nights.

We consciously chose a small hotel. We came with our dog. The hosts are super accommodating. The dog was welcome everywhere. The breakfast was perfect. A buffet with very fresh products. Coffee, egg dishes, orange juice, etc. were freshly prepared and served to our table. Perfect accommodation with wellness options, peace and relaxation.

The infinity pool was luxurious, clean and had a beautiful view of the gardens. The room was extremely clean and spacious. But the best part about this place were the hosts, Domenico and his Mother. They made our family feel so welcome and tended to our every request to make our stay as good as it could be. The dinners on site were amazing. Authentic home cooked meals by Domenico’s mother and a quality selection of wines to match. The breakfast provided in the morning had everything you could want, all fresh and quality produce. The atmosphere that has been created here makes guests feel as though they are at home, can’t recommend highly enough.
