Our stay at Il Giuncheto was absolutely magnificent, one of those places that truly captures the magic of Tuscany. The setting is breathtaking! Our suite had a private sauna, and even the bathroom felt like a mini spa, which was such a treat after exploring the countryside. The pool area is stunning, with comfortable sunbeds perfect for relaxing with a glass of local wine while soaking in the views. But what really made this stay unforgettable was the warm and welcoming staff. Ciro and his team went above and beyond to make us feel at home, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality added such a personal touch to the whole experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape in Tuscany, Il Giuncheto is simply perfect. We can’t wait to return!

N/A - Everything was incredible

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and from the moment we arrived the experience was top tier. The staff (Sara & Sonia) were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The property is so well organised and we felt truly looked after in all aspects. There were so many small touches that made our stay unforgettable, we feel very lucky to have experienced Tuscany while staying here. The buffet breakfast each morning and the two home cooked dinners we enjoyed were very memorable. Highly highly recommend this stay to anyone who is travelling to Tuscany and searching for that extra special treatment. We had a lot of 'pinch me' moments during our stay.

We stayed in Il Giuncheto for 3 nights in August. It is absolutely the most beautiful place we ever stayed in. Rooms are gorgeous and spacious, everything is clean and very thoughtfully put together. Breakfast is pure perfection and ladies that are preparing it deserve all the praise. Pool area is marvelous, surrounded with perfect green grass and beautiful gazebos. However, everything listed above is not the most important part. The main reason we will definitely come back is owner and wonderful staff. They were not just friendly but genuinely dedicated to ensuring an excellent stay for us. From the moment of check-in to the time of departure, they were available to assist with any requests, offering personalized service and giving us tips and directions where to go, what to do and see. Everything was amazing.

We were so blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at Il Giuncheto. We had the honor of meeting Chiro and Maria (the owners of the property) when we first arrived, and they gave us the best first night and the most spectacular dinner experience. Then we had the pleasure of meeting Sonja and Scully and Jesse, which was a wonderful pleasure. The entire staff is there to ensure comfort and satisfaction. Serena was lovely, as was Sarah in the evenings…and Jaz kept good care of the rooms. In a heartbeat we would come back and stay here for longer… a wonderful place with wonderful people and a beautiful and serene location. Literally the best place you can find in the middle of everywhere and nowhere.

Nothing, this place is perfect.

Hands down the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. We moved around to different areas and I wish I could go back and stay here the whole time. The hotel was remote so the first thing we felt was genuine peace and quiet. The hotel is close enough to Pienza and Montepulciano so it was a good hub to get us to areas to visit. I found this area of Tuscany to be the most beautiful. The hotel staff were absolutely incredible, it felt like we had family taking care of us and it felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves. The food was the best of our trip as well -- coffee and food made to order, fresh fruit/cerelas/Yoghurt as well as meat/cheeses and delicious pastries. Rooms were incredibly clean, the surrounding countryside was beautiful and the pool was also lovely. There was nothing that was bad about this place and I genuinely wish we had more time there. Would highly recommend.

Nothing - it was all perfect.

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Il Giuncheto - it’s perhaps the most peaceful place I’ve ever been. Every small detail has been thought through and beautifully designed, there’s a stunning view of the surrounding countryside and it’s so quiet. It’s the perfect place to relax and reset. The food was fantastic as well. The breakfast was quite the spread and beautifully presented. They also cook homemade lunches and dinners that were superb. But above all, the Ciro, the owner, and the staff make Il Giuncheto so special. Ciro is incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that his spirit brings a special touch to Il Giuncheto. He predicted every need before it arose and shared his love of the region and cuisine. The staff were also wonderful - they went truly above and beyond. I’m looking forward to going back next year.

Stunning place in a beautiful location. All the staff went above and beyond and provided a first class hospitality experience. The food was amazing with some of the best ingredients and home style cooking we’ve ever had. We didn’t drive and the hosts were so helpful in transferring us to the local station. We had the best time !

I dare say this was the best holiday we’ve had so far. The place is extremely charming and impeccably clean. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they gave us great tips on what to see in the area. Breakfast was excellent, and dinner – which they also offer – was simply phenomenal. Surrounded by fantastic nature, stunning views, and a wonderful pool, we truly recharged our batteries. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be coming back.

Location had an amazing view Breakfast was handmade with love and tasted delicious Owner of hotel was so friendly and kind and he drove us to Florence for only 250 as the taxi people were asking for 350 and he thought that was unfair so he drove us himself from his hotel all the way Florence and didn’t leave till he found us the hotel. Every corner of the hotel was an authentic Italian gem. Views looked like they had come out of a dream we loved the stay and are looking forward to coming back again next time.

You need a car to get there and any other locations in Tuscany. Roads are narrow and winding. There is no public transportation. Not an issue since I am comfortable driving in Europe. But you need to be aware. For a wedding close by the manager Sonja was incredible and arranged a private car.

The breakfast was beyond expectations! The hostess set out a scrumptious buffet with everything you could possibly want. Presentation perfect. So delicious and inviting. They also offered an amazing four course dinner which was wonderful ! The staff, especially Sonja was warm, helpful and anticipated our every need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
